    Is there a strainer in the milk because it came out looking like it's lumpy and not smooth

  • @savaandjelkovic2847
    @savaandjelkovic2847 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    When you heat the almonds so much, doesn't the oil separate from the almonds and the almonds are literally cooked and that's why they look lumpy? And another question, isn't heated oil so harmful for us, and it loses all its nutrients? (processed almond milk is also available in stores) in my opinion, if you want quality almond milk, the best option is Vitamix.
    Don't waste money on this machine is not worth it because you get colored boiled water with boiled almonds and separated oil and it DOES ONLY THAT.
    You can do much more with Vitamix
    ;)

      I mainly use it for cashew and coconut milk to be honest. I am happy with it. It's convenient.

    • @readingest
      @readingest ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no "pulp" filtered out b/c pulp in other machines are just the nut matter that couldn't be ground fine enough. This machine grinds all the nut matter into the drink (it will settle so it does require stirring/shaking). This is why it can use so few nuts compared to other machines.

    All around a bad item
    My family bought this for Christmas for me. I tried it and it worked the first 5 times. I did 1/2 recipes. Then it threw an error code of e15, call the manufacturer. They would not talk to me because I did not purchase it. My son finally talked then into replacing. They asked us to cut the electrical cord and toss. After a long wait we recieved a brand new one. This one only lasted 1 pot before it threw the e15 error. I tried both of them numerous times after the code, but they just don't work. The milk that we got was watered down or chunky. We can no longer return them. Researched a little and they are not designed for use above low altitude. So if you live at 2,000feet it may work. I also did not like that it had to go through the whole milk making process to clean. Each time it would throw an error I would have to unplug it, attempt to clean everything manually and then run a 15 minute cycle to clean it, which usually resulted in another error code. Don't buy

      I don't have one yet, but it seems that it will detect when the water level is low, so you could intentionally not fill the tank up all the way, so it stops after making the milk.

Other than that it seems to be functionally the same machine. If you're just looking for milk maker for dry nuts/beans etc this is totally fine.
