    This is actually the most articulate and objective book review I have seen in a loooooong time and believe me, I have seen A LOT. I'm over impressed considering its your first.
    I DEFINITELY will get this book thanks to you.

    VERY Cool explanation of the evolution of creativity. This topic also covers all aspects of human collaboration. After viewing this it aided in responding to the comments of "Why is art important?" and "Do we really need art?" Being surrounded & influenced by art this review has coalesced all my experiences into one understanding and expression of thought. Yes, this kind of book review is good. Applause!!!

    awesome! really well summarized

  • @Hussiens
    @Hussiens 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This was great. I think it's slightly less of a review and more of a reflection and what you got from it, which is actually what I prefer because I benefit from the lessons you learned reading it without necessarily having read it myself.

    • @ARTiculations
      @ARTiculations  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Hussiens haha yeah it started as a review but quickly turned into - thoughts I had and things I learned from it. I wasn't sure what to call it but "book reflection" does sound better. I think I'll use that going forward :P

    • @goVERBaNOUN
      @goVERBaNOUN 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Hussiens Agreed. I like how it morphed! In the big picture of things, I think anyone can do a book review abou the book, but there's more to get out of a "how it affected me" kind of review.
      In short, 10/10 A++++++ would watch again

    I really like the insight you brought to this book review. I love seeing how others review their books compared to my own. It is always interesting to see how people think when reading the exact same content. 👍

    Excellent, I like how you picked a few items and went into detail with information, rather than covering a dozen in a shallow manner. Nice job editing, the info came at a good pace. I would suggest next time to add a personal preference, or share how some part influenced you, or changed your perspective. I also liked how you shared how you agreed with some parts but not everything.

    I'm sorry, but if someone has to coach you on how to be creative...well, you probably aren't that creative.

    • @trukimai9293
      @trukimai9293 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Why does creativity have to be innate? Why can't it be learned?

    • @victoriannecastle
      @victoriannecastle 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@trukimai9293 You learn your craft. Like drawing a 3d or story structure in a novel but the meat of your creativity is something you yourself can have. Art is more like a self-expression. Throw the color blue and black at random, it's all up to you. Creativity is freedom. It's the only time you can loosen from the constraint of society. Teachers will teach you how it worked for them and somehow influence you on how you produce your work. In a lot of cases, you are silencing your voice because you are afraid of the `coach.` But again, you can learn from everything.

    • @ToibiDoesStuff

      That’s a horrible sentiment. Anyone can be creative.
