    Just to clarify, when an object is free-falling, does its velocity increase as it gets to the ground?

      Yes, if there's no air resistance.

      @@wanstudent4502 Yeah but air resisitance will increase as the card falls down, until the air resistance equals the gravity force and the card will travel at constant velocity

      @@marksmith5591 agree although the question was 'does the velocity increase' . So does that not mean it will continue increasing until it hits the ground unless there's air resistance?
