If he told her that 50 years is more enough time for humankind to fix the environment which is why his race was targeting humankind than she would have not destroyed the device.
I'm sorry but does anyone else besides me still dislike Sara Tomko's character Asta? She is just not a nice person and unbearable to be around in my opinion. I could be wrong but it seems like she uses Harry's painfully obvious ignorance of the human race against him and constantly throws it in his face. If he was an actual human I would like to think he would realize how miserable of a person she is. Not only that but she always speaks to him in a condescending or sarcastic manner and makes no secret of her hatred and utter disdain for the male species. Asta was like this in the first season and apparently the writers of this show have not evolved her character one bit. If this show goes on it would not be surprising if Harry gets fed up with her and tells her off at some point. That would be so satisfying. Sure she is an attractive woman but speaking as a man physical attraction does not and should not outweigh being a decent, tolerable person that other people can stand to be around.
Have you even watched the show? ALL the characters are deeply flawed but they grow over time and Harry’s presence helps propel some of those changes. Asta was in an abusive relationship for most of her life and she is still distraught about giving away her daughter. Its so creepy that you are commenting on the actresses appearance. The best part of this show is that it has well written complex female AND male characters. In most shows, the women are just eye candy and barely have a backstory. Asta is a saint for dealing with Harry’s rude personality, announcement of human doom and all the crimes he commits. Pretty sure you wouldnt be cheery around that either.
@@thezu9250 Why is my commenting on her appearance creepy to you? All I said is that she is attractive which she is to me. You act like it's not common for people of opposite genders to be attracted to each other. Also I have watched the show because I have the first season on DVD. I am well aware of Asta's painful backstory involving an abusive relationship and losing her daughter but even that is no justification for her unlikabilty. Surely you can see how she deals with her pain is toxic and unhealthy and how she has become jaded toward men in general. Sure Harry has done bad things like you said but it makes sense because he is an ALIEN. Tell me which is worse...an non-human species only doing what is in their nature to do or an actual human committing evil acts. In the real world so-called humans like this sadly exist.
I did feel like I some episodes her character felt different like something felt out of place you can tell they had different writers for certain episodes. Didn’t care to much about the storyline with her daughter it wasn’t I want to change the channel but a if they removed it I wouldn’t have cared and would have rather them focused on her getting out of a abusive relationship.
this is the worst episode so far...and 3 was so preachy and irritating with the empowerment messages...the little girl..wow..bugging the snot out of me
There was literally NOTHING about “wokeism” or “feminism”. I feel like you guys hate the show because it has minorities and well written female characters that arent just there for eye candy.
I did like this SCENE Harry is so happy / then so angry, Human EMOTIONS 😄

Best scifi show on tv. Love it.

S1 was fun. S2 went downhill will wokeism and feminism. Will pass on S3.
