Very good positive actions, that is how the Dutch demanded safe separated cycle tracks in the 70's. Next step is to influence the bureaucrats to incorperate these changes into permanent street design. Fine work Clarence.

An excellent point about social media being a useful tool to use! Getting the word out is half the battle

I have some practical questions. Does the pavement need to be swept and cleaned before using the paint? Do you use like, construction adhesive for the plungers and planters? I'd love a practical guide. I want to do this on my street!

Such a helpful video, thank you! I’m an artist and was just introduced to this concept. It ’s, great to see this; I want to join the movement. It also looks like ideas are replicated since you share projects through social media. It's all so fantastic. I'm going to start taking traffic cones.

Please dont steal traffic cones. They're there for a reason keeping road workers safe. Go buy your own. Other than that. Great work :)

After having watched a bunch of content on the war in Ukraine, tactical urbanism is not what I expected it to be

Here in the UK if anyone tried this then motorists would just drive on the pavements. What we need here are safe spaces for pedestrians because we now have allowed bikes and electric scooters to use the pavements , meaning there is precious little room to walk anywhere. I gave up a car to go green and have to take my life in my hands to walk my dog. And we have bike lanes it's not 'cool' to use - according to gen Z!!

    I don't understand:
    1. Surely the people taking part in this are technically committing vandalism?
    2. If a bike lane also allows car to park in it, how can it be bollarded?
    3. How you can convince local gov to support you when the public are mostly car-brained

This is a movement that has great intentions, but is it ok to be promoting stealing private property (pylons)? Also, on one hand, the movement describes its need for municipal government approval, yet on the other hand, it teaches to forget the laws and policies and do what you think is right...?
