Disaster preparedness is something all LGUs should be investing in and more importantly training them the basic needed skills to survive 72hours without a coordinated government response.
What, they are becoming preppers now? In the States we call that BOB (Bug out bags). But here, we have more preppers than any other country. And serious about prepoing. Anyways, as I always say better be ready than not. "Its better to know me & not need me, than to know me & not need me." But seriously, how many filipinos are really serious on prepping when calamities arise, maybe 0.0001% just a guess until proven wrong but I think its accurate.
Easy work anyone with money can give ppl free foods and emergcy kits etc... Fix the traffic and side walks for the people in pasig. Free lang naman yan haha 😂 wal
hindi lahat nang may pera namimigay , its their hard earned money . giving should be appreciated in any case possible, ayaw mo matrapik dito ka sa bukid tumira

You can lead a horse to water... I'm sure the comments about some people misusing them, or even selling them, are true. But I still think a majority would use them as intended. Ultimately, it's down to each family. If they don't use it right, and something happens, they might really have regrets.

it is not worth it,could you imagie let say 180k total house hold og pasig city and the amount of each kit bag worth 500 pesos, its worth 90Million pesos ,and do you think every pasiguenios care those kits?worthless ..i am not against vico he a good leader, but sometimes think what is more important than those..every pilipino family can provide that kit..that kind of amount money you can that for hire sa bawat barangay na mag maintain ng kalinisin ,
Honestly, seeing how much money gets wasted in government, I personally feel like this is actually a worthwhile expenditure. Especially when you consider the impact during emergencies or disasters ... It could actually pay for itself, by having more people take care of themselves, instead of immediately overwhelming the LGU. But still, I appreciate you sharing your feedback. There's rarely something that everyone would agree on, so it's always worth listening and learning 👍
ya i agreed with you when comes loosing government money, but in local government could you imagine 90M can create a jod for every barangay ,there is 30 barangays in pasig city and they can hire 50 persons every barangay with sallary of 5k a month for 1 year for maintining clean organize thier barangay..if there is 90M per annum budget of pasig city government, creating a job , how can we sure that no one gets commisions or kickback on that projects10 or 15% ,,it so sad you cannot feed 180 household 30 barangays, dont get me wrong but Western and Fiipino a big different ,you know how Filipino is hardheaded ,,teach them how to fish not feeding the fish@@GadgetAddict
