NOTE: Lara Fabian was sick that night. She had a severe ear and throat inflammation which made her take a shot of morphine to releave the pain. Even tho her sickness she was able to perform 4 songs that night. Lara was trained during 10 years to become an Opera Singer from her 8 to 18 years old at the Royal Conservatory of Belgium, she kept studying Bel canto and piano since then non stop. She's a master in resonance, breathing support, vowel pronunciation, phrasing and emotion deliver. ❤❤

Those 4 people on stage are incredible. Igor the composer is a legend. Aida on the left is an incredibly skilled opera singer - one of the best sopranos. Lara on the right is classically trained, but sings pop. She has an incredible tone and her emotional delivery is outstanding.
And then there is Dimash, who sings the baritone part in this. But make no mistake: He could easily sing the women’s parts as well.
Thank you for trying to show Dimash to your friend. It’s a pity, that he is so closed off to new experiences.
Many people on this planet don’t understand English, but they still listen to Whitney Houston or Adele. Wouldn’t it be tragic, if they said: I don’t understand the language, so their singing doesn’t interest me? 😔
I hope for him, that his taste broadens as he gets older. It’s always better to be able to enjoy more things. Your life is better with more things to enjoy in it. 😉
You get a like for your reaction and willingness to enjoy their voices, even if your friend doesn’t. 😅❤
Dimash will be in Germany next month. 😉

Don't worry, Dimash's concert tickets range from £45 -£125. Even though it is not your friend cup of tea, I appreciate him saying that this is an undeniable talent. Please do not push people to like Dimash, when they are not ready, because people just got defensive and reject the whole idea. Your friend might come to appreciate the versatility of Dimash when he is older. There are plenty of people of different music and demographic background that came to Dimash eventually. On the other note , at the latest Dimash concert in September he introduced his new song "Fire" that is a hard rock style if you are in that sort of music. This is the beauty of his art - everyone can find something in Dimash music for himself.

@@mariannab6906 I don't mean to be rude. But I do want to defend Dimash. His talent deserves its respect for it's excellence. Even if you don't care for the song one cannot ignore this level of skill, depth and passion. He connects...but it's true a person may not be mature enough for a more serious song. And just uncomfortable with it. But it's the ones who are jealous and feel a need to disregard Dimash as no big deal. Which is disingenuous opinion if you have a working brain. But we all have biases and tastes and leave it at that. Just be respectful. Which the comments have been.
Dimash fans are decent folks...just like him.

@@Kirkunik1 You must have completely misunderstood my first comment. I am a big fan of Dimash. In fact this is going to be our fifth Dimash concert that we are going to in Prague in November. The point of my comment was that I have come across this sort of reaction like in the video when trying to spread the knowledge about Dimash art and talent. Some people are just not ready, that's all. Anyway, see you in Prague. Peace✌️❤️

Димаш лучший из лучших,ему подвластно все,очень люблю это трио,это великолепно, Игорь Крутой браво

  • @ericsicard910
    @ericsicard910 หลายเดือนก่อน +23

Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event:
    • Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed. Igor is considered as the godfather of the russian music scene, a bigger equivalent for Russia of David Foster for North America.
    • This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years, they co-created many songs together and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with”
    • This also explains why the song does not expose more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton.
    • Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable
    • Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently.
    • It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, … / she influenced him a lot on the way he performs and builds his songs) : look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it …
    • Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 7 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man
    • Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara
    • Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀
    • I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers.
    • Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash

👉 With this last song in this breathtaking concert (You should watch it), Dimash follows in the footsteps of the world famous opera singer (baritone) Dmitri Hvorostovsky (*1962 in Krasnoyarsk; †2017 in London), who has often sung this song by maestro Krutoy in previous performances.
The lady in white is Aida Garifullina, *1987, a Tatar from Russia, world-famous opera star and Prima Donna at the Vienna Opera (Austria).
The lady in black is Lara Fabian (*1970), also a world-famous singer, songwriter from Belgium and a great role model for Dimash. Even as a child, Dimash wished to be on stage with Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian one day ... and here the dream came true.
The ice dancers are Olympic champions and world champions from Russia.
This event took place on the occasion of the 65th birthday of Igor Krutoy (composer at the piano) in 2019. Can there be a nicer birthday?
    * Igor Krutoy (Krutoy means 'Cool', *1954 in Ukraine SSR). He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.
So far, Igor has composed several songs for Dimash and many songs in 30 years for Lara Fabian and other singers. Most of the songs in this concert were by him.
By the way, all Dears should also subscribe to Igor's channel. He deserves it and also flowers from the Russian Dears.
    * Lilia Vinogradova wrote the grandiose lyrics and is known as a permanent co-author of the composer Igor Krutoy, with whom has created wonderful works in the crossover genre. They created the cycle for Hvorostovsky, albums for Sumi Jo, Anna Netrebko, Yusif Aivazov, Lara Fabian and others.
When she asked why she did it in Italian, the poet replied: “First, Italian is by definition the international language of music, the language that allows the vocalist to open up as much as possible. This is the best language for singing...
And secondly, I. Y. Krutoy and me have a well-established tradition of writing most of our works in Italian when creating in the crossover genre.”
Lilia Vinogradova says about Dimash: 'Imagine a diamond that is born in the bowels of the earth - And now it appears in the light of God, and people have the opportunity to look at it, touch it, and enjoy it. Dimash’s natural talent is akin to such a unique gem…. Nothing is more important in art than identity… And it’s not even the number of octaves that Dimash covers with his voice, not the technical capabilities, but the extent to which his soul, the scale of his personality, his mind, intellect and feelings can match his technical, vocal data… And now we've added Dimash as a new element to our creative symbiosis. Very young, something completely different, new, but insanely interesting, he completely has disarmed us, captivated and charmed us with its novelty…“ (dimashnews)

Suggest “Smoke” MV by Dimash! Entirely different vibe or “Be With Me” (Dimash raps) or Lose Control (R&B) with Dimash and Chante Moore. More to your taste. This is the classical side of Dimash. 🎼✅Igor Krutoy, the MC of this musical event, was the producer of this huge event, is a close friend of the singers and lead musicians that starred in it all day long, and is the elegant older guy playing the piano part for the song, one of hundreds of this caliber that he has composed in his prolific lifetime of music business art and creativity. That it was "just" his 65th birthday bash was beside the point; that it was a spectacular success was par for the course.
The role of an MC of an event is to make their guests look good, and to woo the audience, like Igor did. And the humbler the better. It's why, for example, Harry Mack always knocks it out of the park. Or even Ren, or Hanumankind, despite their egos. They keep it in check.
Hi Ferg (is that how to refer to you, the MC of this reaction video / channel?). I think you feel you were respectful toward your guest ("Roose" (sp?) from London). Perhaps I'm off in my feelings but because I respect you based on other aspects of what you do, I want you to know that it felt to me like you were trying to judge the situation, and their reaction, a bit like a preacher preaching, rather than as an MC showcasing the #1 stars of the event -- especially Roose (sp?). I see some Dears (Dimash fans) have made some negative comments, and perhaps you anticipated/feared those, or felt as those Dears did, but still, you asked Roose (sp?) to be honest, and he was, so pushing back, for any reason, is highly likely to backfire.
What about taking a tip from the likes of Igor, Ren, Hanumankind? Igor appears at the center of his own birthday event in this video, which is more than fair. But he focused on accepting what the moment had to give, and playing piano beautifully, and otherwise let the stars express themselves. And the titles of Igor's birthday videos mentions the names of the stars in the video. I'd say that's a key element of respect shown by an MC to his stars. Indeed, Igor doesn't even mention his own name. In contrast, Roose (sp?) and/or a related link isn't even mentioned in your video description. Think about that! Also, let Dears be Dears. I think a bunch of us were unkind toward you, Roose (sp?), and/or your reaction video overall. But don't be unkind in return! That never works.
I thought Roose (?) did well to catch that Aida shone brighter than Dimash at the start, and you did well to suggest Dimash might up the ante later. Indeed that's what he typically does in songs, especially when in a duet (or trio like this) because he _wants_ the other singer to sound glorious, and to do so while his voice does not. He then picks just the right moment to amp things up. I wonder if either or both of you noticed that he got much stronger when he briefly sang solo and turned his attention from Aida, representing the first of his loves we're introduced to, to Lara, representing another of his loves. And that he blends gloriously, as an equal, as they sang together to close the song. It's best to let aspects like these surface and momentarily grab the spotlight during a reaction. I think you mostly pulled that off but would do well to do better next time.
Peace and love from the UK to Roose (sp?) and you (Ferg?). 🕊💖

This is high culture. Apparently you cannot relate. It's too bad.
Rap is primitive. This is highly civilized. It's not your world.
    Dimash is a male.
She should sing higher than him. But in truth...he can sing higher than most Divas.
And lower than most baritone. These are trained and studied people. You don't wake up one day and be able to sing like this.
The style is not your thing. It's not street culture. Although many rappers have been able to enjoy the blend Dimash brings and have advanced mentally because of it.
