Great guide but you forgot two important -13 punisher for pushback moves like Bryan's df2,3 df4 rangy mid +3 follow ups: df1 mid, d3+4 low, 4/f4 ch f4,3 range - on hit unless you go to DSS follow ups same as the video, but you forgot th the lows dss 4 and rage drive, for turtles f4 and 1, 4, iirc f2 has also a mid extension After 1,1,2 another way to beat powercrushes is 4/f4, recovers quickly on whiff if ducked, it also has extensions, I don't remember if it can be sidestepped or not, but I guess you can. Another i10 punbisher is 2,b2 insane mixup with d4 and mids, to ch bt 2 mid, bt d3 low and bt 4(,3) high mid
This looks like the beginning of a very interesting Law... I don't think WS+1,2 is truly hit confirmable, but it is twitch confirmable due to WS+1 having more advantage on CH than on hit. For your WS+4 DSS, your b,f is too slow. You need to press b,f before the kick lands. When you do that, the display will read +3 instead of +4 and the DFS animation will look a little different. Then you'll be able to press f to transition from DFS into DSS without the DFS animation being visible. It's not easy. Good luck.
@@tsyrendambaev9675 You seem certain and you could be right, but I'm not convinced yet. Generally, for a string to be considered hit confirmable, it needs to still be a natural combo even when the 2nd button is delayed by around 14 frames. But Law's WS+1,2 is only a natural combo if the 2nd button is delayed by 9 frames at most. Even with really good reactions, overcoming that 5-frame difference would still be extremely difficult, if not impossible. But that 5-frame difference happens to be exactly the difference between WS+1 on hit (-1) and on CH (+4). So, it would be CH confirmable if the CH had a spark or resulted in a different animation (like King's ff,n+1+2), but Law's WS+1 does neither of those things. But this does mean we still have enough time to finish the WS+1,2 string if we twitch confirm the CH by seeing (or hearing) the opponent starting an attack before the WS+1 hit them. I think that a lot of the time when someone says a string is hit confirmable, it's not truly hit confirmable but it is twitch confirmable and they either don't fully understand the difference or there is some miscommunication (like maybe a language barrier).
The ws4 DSS transition seems a lot more punishing than the others. I've done it late and still never actually gotten out of DFS and I've gotten DFS where I can't press for what seems like a year. If you do nail it, the pressure is insane though.
People who don't know the matchup super well like to press after ws4 assuming it's around -9 like the rest of the cast. I like to throw them raw to see how they react and then try to catch them with dss 2 if they press. If they don't, the response is more situational.
Subscribed! I’m a Law main so I would love to see more info on this character and how to properly apply all of his moves!

Much appreciated
While standing back 4 and forward forward inside the 4 hit mark will get you plus 18, but it must be counter hit to get a dss follow up if 3+4 4

Basic ws4 is plus 7, on block minus 4, so if it hits tr
y for a db+3 or df+1 or magic 4 or f1)+1+2

Ws 1,2 IS hit conformable

yeah its only hit confirmable on counter hit, made me so mad when they nerfed this move

Probably one of Law's best tools, especially since F+1+2 is plus frames and can recover crouching
