  • This is a brand introduction into the Jade Ceramic line up of coatings. I go over a brief discussion covering each coating. I will get into more detailed specific in their own dedicated videos. I personally have had success with the Jade coatings. These are professional grade coatings that anyone can purchase. They are blended by B&B Blending.

    I heard of Jade, just never knew it was "associated". Great review!!! Excited to try myself now that I have multiple panels to play with.

    Great review of the Jade lineup Mike. DK is only 30 minutes from me, so I will pick some up when the weather is nice.

    Nice overview review can’t wait until you use them. I’ve only use the Jade to the left before obsidian

      @MikeGDetailing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Thanks. That one was a good coating at the time. Obsidian is much nicer to work with after the reformulations to all their coatings.

      @@MikeGDetailing great to hear. I’ll definitely try to revisit Jade. The UV black light was nice at the time but I never fully liked it. But like you said it’s great for beginners or trying to remember where you left off that day

    Appreciate the overview, man! I've seen some pushback on other videos/channels about products from B&B, but in my experience, although criticisms of corporate greed may have some validity, there are nevertheless some clear benefits in using products from a company that has substantial resources at its disposal (e.g., consistent QC [usually], better price/volume, etc.). Either way, I'm looking forward to your impressions on these.

      Thank man. You are absolutely right. They could have continued to sell their previous formulations which were middle of the pack but t B&B decided to reformulate the coatings. Their chemist is sharp and I enjoy hearing him speak about what goes into developing a product. He has been on the Adams live steam as well as on Pan's channel. The other thing people fail to realize is B&B makes many of the products we use today which is always a touchy subject. B&B is in good hands with two former Gyeon representatives working for them.

    I think my only complaint about Jade is that zero instructions are available anywhere for their products. I know they're supposed to be a professional brand, but some basics would be nice...

      @@fundamentallybroken4194 appreciate it. I hope my response didn't come out of context. I meant to say that these Jade videos are to help others learn how to use them due to Jade not wanting to push their products like other brands. I find that odd as they prefer to kind of stay word of mouth. They should be promoting at least their coatings as they are indeed good.

      @@MikeGDetailing I just finished the paint correction, and slapped the Jade Obsidian on there. It will sit in the garage for 3 days and we will see. I watched, and re-watched your video on the topic, and everything went on well. I was looking for any high spots or streaks... I think we are good! Thanks for all the info Mike, it would have been 10x harder without your videos!

    Hey Mike! How does Jet compare to say gyeon can coat evo as far as long term durability and hydrophobics. Is there a shelf life after opening? Also have you tried ruby there other spray product.

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have not had it long term to compare. Just used it here and there. It does have comparable hydrophobic behavior to cancoat. Jet is easier to apply and the shelf life is long. Just take the sprayer out when not using it to avoid air getting into the bottle. I have not used Ruby yet.
