I know that using a water based wild force power in the water filled with water based quirks may seem like a mismatch but I honestly think it makes more sense. Then again I’d also argue one of the in space rangers makes more sense since Deku could call on a galaxy glider to fly them to safety and to alert the pros(I know that’d be a radical change but what’s portals boy going to do to do? His power is actually quite slow and the Galaxy gliders are very agile but I suppose it would take mastery and this assumes they’re still around).

I long suspected if power rangers(or super Sentai since this is in Japan so only fair) existed in the MHA universe that they’d likely be able to hold the line till All for One came along, in fact it makes sense that all for one would show off his power by crushing the power rangers and their zords for fun(when I was imagining it, I envisioned like the last hold out of power rangers being rag tag rangers who face the largest collection of villains before the events of MHA. Maybe to list the rangers and the location I imagined, was in the Lightspeed aqua base with Carter Greyson and TJ leading 7 other rangers let’s say Billy(who’d be their technical support), Adam, Kimberly, Mike Corbett(using a resorted magna defender or even the red lost galaxy powers), Yellow Jungle fury, Yellow wild force, Ninja storm blue and Rpm Blue….when I said rag tag I meant it but I also don’t see the rangers in other times and places not coming to help. And like All for One launching a full attack on the city, the rangers unable to resist charge in on the rail rescues with Carter controlling the Lightspeed rescue zords to help clear the city, All for one though to mark his presence destroys the super train. The villains quickly attack and the rangers on the ground fight as best they can but eventually it’d be like count down to destruction with the rangers getting picked off and finally the Lightspeed megazord is destroyed too bringing the last zords to their end. The last two rangers I see defying All for one would be Billy and Kimberly bringing together the power blaster for one last time and attempting to use it to end all for one but failing. With All for one using the smashed helmets as like a sick trophy). so I like how I’m not the only one who thought along the same lines.
14:16 I firmly disagree with that assessment since while I can imagine there’d be rules in how Deku be allowed to use them, having them utterly banned would be discriminatory since Momo can create weapons with her quirk(including guns and swords…and while in the sports festival the closest she ever did was a shield, I’d still say given how shields have been used historically, little known fact but some shields had their edges sharpened so that they could take the heads off their opponents so no matter what rising of the shield hero says, they are legit weapons with an offensive ability and with the Spartans they were 70% of their offence). So I think so long as Deku didn’t try to shoot Bakugo(I know that’s a hard ask), he’d be allowed to use them.

Also I can’t help but wonder why Deku didn’t change into Ninjor(who can turn giant size….not against the rules!) or the Green Mighty morphin ranger(who’s dragon shield has been shown to absorb blasts from Titanus).

Yes, but it's suffering from rewriting. I got the first 10 minutes of Part 9 edited before I realized something didn't make sense, so now I'm stuck trying to make it make sense.

they’re likely very old heroes closer to the pre quirk era like all for one than current day.
