You are very right. What Gerald did could make you stand at that spot and forget you exist.
I got to meet Gerald a few years ago. I was in an honor jazz group in high school and we played in the local jazz fest. Gerald was the headliner that year. Right after our sound check he went around and shook everyone's hand that was in the band and told us how good a job we were doing. Not only is he a fantastic player, but a really nice, down to earth guy.

Gerald you da man. Awesome arrangement of Round Midnight. I just started playing the sax at 66! I have the Raven A5 B Ice B. it has great tone. Question for you is what ligature and mouthpiece combos do you play?

gerald plays on beechler diamond inlay. you can look up his exact setup online
he plays the custom beechler white diamond. its a little rounder than the regular white diamond but with more projection...
