I’m pretty sure the ball didn’t hit the hunter, since it was the flare gun that hit them instead. I think it did slightly change angle though but not that much to be able to hit the hunter there
I just realized that the batter’s perk that gives 50% speed once someone got hit(not the batter) acts similarly like BT. I believe the gameplan was once someone got hit and cipher pops , he doesnt get 50% health but rather speed, downside is, if he’s being chased by the hunter it’s useless.
@@ironthorns5659 you’re only really going to see him coming to rescue since you shouldn’t chase him at all, forcing him to decode a with 20% debuff would be better. like with coord, baiting kills him. if you see him around you need to get rid of him immediately, or if he swings he has to wait 10 seconds before being able to use the bat again

This is a super late reply sorry but tldr identity v was made so people could play a dead by daylight esque game while adhering to chinas censorship laws; the dbd team gave netease permission to create the game.
