- Children, Go Where I Send Thee, arranged by Kevin Phillip Johnson, is a traditional African-American spiritual song. In this arrangement, an upbeat, powerful groove is accompanied by piano, percussion, and a soulful rap section. A defining feature of this piece is its cumulative style, with each lyric giving a Biblical reference to the numbers mentioned.
Conductor: Dr. Darius Lim

I did this for my choir and it was awesome more people should do it
Love the communal rhythm and the way Dr. Lim leads the choir! So much more effective to communicate the beat and feel of the music like that than to just beat a pattern!
Wonderful
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Well done Dr Darius Lim and the Ladies choir
Chills 😊
This arrangement and choreography looks identical like Spelman’s Glee “club version. Well done! I know this song has been done for literally multiple decades by various artists from Kenny Rogers and celebrities and kid’s choirs. Is this particular arrangement (with the rap) a common rendition as well?

As a fan of the original by Spelman College’s Glee Club in Atlanta, GA; this is missing serious soul, choreography coordination, and the feeling of the ancestors behind the meaning and message of the spiritual. This is a mess!
Spelman’s reendition is brilliant but jeez Joyce… the thing the most soul-less here is your comment. Being so harsh for so little doesn’t honour the ancestors.
girl stfu, are you up there singing at this level? are you a professional choral singer? oh, you aren't? hm..
@@MlleNnCo thank you!!
