Josh I’ve been watching you for several years and my favorite part about you and your channel is you never lose your passion. Through all the fame , the scrutiny , and the success you’re still a kid at heart living his dream . The only people that hate are because they want what you pulled off. Y’all are one of the top ones doing it!!
I really appreciate you saying this dude, that's exactly how I feel. to me im the same kid that grew up on a dirt road in Ohio hoping to see a buck let alone get a chance at shooting one.
I took up my lost passion of weight lifting 2 years ago when i came across your channel Josh. I thought at the time that an Outdoorsman and Hunter shouldn't lifts weights etc. You showed a very good example and thanks to you i found back to my passion. It is truly a luxury to be able to get stronger and more aesthetic every day.
It’d be awesome to see you on the HUNTR podcast again, also your long form “bow tech” style videos are some of my favorites. You include so much great wisdom and information that is constantly overlooked.
Whether people dis on this man or love him he has the love, the passion, and grind for hunting and he appreciates ever animal no matter the size and as a hunter much respect to Bowmar and I love seeing the videos big supporter here. God Bless You!
Love him or hate him, he appreciates every deer that’s comes onto the field. Even with the caliber of deer he has shot. You can hear the true passion and respect this dude has for whitetails
Thanks for saying this man. It’s so true. I grew up in the backwoods of Ohio and it was a real treat my whole life to see a buck let alone get a shot at one. I have such a high level appreciation for all the deer especially bucks from those youth years of mine
So i normally dont comment on videos but your broadheads are the best ive ever tried. The Beast. I shot my biggest archery buck this year it literally dropped in its tracks like it was shot with a gun.
Gotta respect the time & effort he puts in. As Spook Spann said on the HUNTR podcast “I knew if Josh ever got some money he would be dangerous.” Boy was spook right!
Man… I watched you drop flame multiple times over the past year. Love that video! I thought to myself “that would be crazy to see this monster Showtime next year” and sure as 💩! Here it is! So pumped for you man! Thank you for the amazing content! We need a collab with SEEK ONE please! That would be even crazier…
I don’t care what you say about this dude but you don’t see somebody killing big deer like this every day. I think that he is a great Hunter that knows his stuff. And I wish I knew as much as him
Awesome job by the Beast broadhead & the tracker/tracking dog! Super nice buck & was well worth letting him mature until you did! Man I wish I could even just go watch a hunt like this nvm be able to go on a hunt like this on private property that is farmed/fully taken care of for wildlife to eat, drink, sleep, reproduce & grow to their full potential! People like Josh, Dudley, Lee & Tiffany, Seek One guys (even though they're just baiting on small pieces of land owned by others, Chris Bee , All the guys on Buck Commander etc love watching ther content, seeing the properties progress & deer grow like crazy year to year! Def a lil jealous, super stoked for them & greatful they film it all for us to watch & dream about one day maybe having an opportunity like the properties/deer/scenery etc they get to hunt, maintain or make better, plant new trees etc for food sources and cover, spend time on & just appreciate the simple beauty ot mother nature! Keep Doin such an amazing job & blessing us with great videos and content to enjoy and support you/others as well! Man what a buck! 🎯 🦌
For low light situation Sony A7s3 is the best. I also record all my hunts and I cand push the ISO at 20,000 and still super clean, even 30 min after sunset you still can record good. Congrats on your hunt of that amazing dear.
Awesome buck Josh!!! Congratulations man!!!! I appreciate you being humble and not letting the fame go to your head like some of the other tv hunters did. The ones who are typing the negative comments are just jealous they can’t do it like you can so they act like jackals and type 💩 on the internet because they know they wouldn’t do it face to face!!!!! Must be a weird spot to be in to feel like you can only pull the trigger on a 200” deer to feel successful. I respect the heck out of what he does, I just don’t know if I would want to be there. Where I hunt there are giants, but I also still get excited about a 130 if I’m in the right mood. To each his own. Thanks for the great content
Yeah. Lucky to have 120"ers around here. Deep South. If you kill a 150 you win contests. I USED to live in the Midwest and it is an "adjustment " still . I now just hunt "mature" deer most of the time and just work on gettingu kids out there. Sooo hard to get permission now and I don't have money to buy land. So lots of public. I got a 120 on public last year. So not bad
You can get excited over a mature 120” deer(that’s a monster in my home state). And still have the self control to not shoot a baby three year old just because he’s 180”.
I agree, I aim for mature animals, does or bucks. Either way I get excited when I finally see one I don’t have to pass on! (But to be fair I still get excited seeing the younger ones too, like when I saw a 4 point that seemed like he would grow in to something nice based on his current size last weekend).
Awesome hunt, he’s a great buck! Well done Josh, shot looked great, but man that embankment would be made him hard to find, great tracking job my that team
Because the dog could get there till the evening. After rigor mortis sets in on a dead animal, it begins to leave within 12 to 24 hours after death, with the full process of stiffening and then relaxing happening over a period of several hours depending on environmental factors like temperatures. So he died right away

@@BowmarBowhunting That is true. The deers eyes are also still natural color. If the deer had been there dead for that long they would’ve been milky gray and blue from lack of oxygen. There is just nothing about the deer that looks like he’s been dead 20 hours.
Ya know, first video I’ve watched and definitely going to watch more. Out of all my deer I have ever taken with a bow, I have always tried to track the blood trail. Quietly so I don’t jump them. Did he even try to look for blood? I know he thought the shot was low but there is always a chance
Heyy thanks for the vid, lol just not real for most hunters. no other hunters pushing them and that you can leave them til next season lol nice to watch though just not real for most hunters
Great video as always. Can you address what your Broadheads close when being shot through ballistic gel? It’s getting hate on TH-cam and I’d like for you to address it. Thanks!
@@Huntermyles81I was out hunting early this morning seen a 8 pt buck chasing does and and I went out tonight seen lots of does not bucks missed a doe last night
Love the video but have to ask, when you found the buck he has zero Rigamortus. I mean if you waited overnight that dude shoulda been stiff as a board but he wasn’t.
That’s because rigamortus leaves after 12-24 hrs. By the time the tracking dog got there is was the following evening. So he was dead for 24 hours. So there would be no rigamortus.
Awesome deer! why not track the blood for before calling the tracker dog? I thought using a dog is when you’ve lost blood and no good sign. I saw the drury team do the same thing so just wondering what’s the reason for that

I learned a lot about filming a good hunt watching this video!
Lets go!!! I’ve been waiting for this hunt since last fall when the first footage of him came onto TH-cam! 😊

Awesome buck Josh! Is that Jesse Richard making an appearance loading him up? Lol
I remember when you were going after flame and you saw Showtime
How is rigor mortis not set in after you left him overnight, he’s limber as a 30 min old kill. Something fishy lol 😂
I thoughr the same thing
Because the dog could get there till the evening. This video predicted my thinking becuz what I was thinking of was the flame video and the first 30 secs it appeared
It wasn’t quartered that much. Crazy it came out the arm pit for sure. Congrats on an awesome but.

Josh, that deer didn’t have a bit of rigor mortis. From the evening you shot him to the next morning he would’ve been stiff if he died running
Exactly something doesn’t add up. That deer went a lot farther than 100 yards and hadn’t been dead over 2 hours
