Both of these are very well done. A little more open pattern reducing the " blob dark spot" look. I would buy K2 pattern as it would be best for the central plains where there's way less green tones in the fall and winter. As the deer see it doesn't make much difference. Also the coyotes see colors very similar to deer- muted dull. K2 would be great for fall turkey IMO.
Really liking the K2. Been interested in it since last season. May get the light weather stuff for turkey season. Since note it be interesting to see some camo reviews with hunter orange vest
I am in CA and I feel that the Big Sky is the better one for out here? There are some open grass areas that I hunt for pig, Deer is in more wooded terrain and going off the visual aid in this video it would appear that Big Sky would be best. Any other CA hunters agree or disagree? I have been looking at the two sets in a local Sportsmans Warehouse. Maybe a reply from the Camo Hunt'n Stuff????
To me, big sky may be more a of tree stand type camo. The bluish grey may do well in a tree with sections of sky popping through your background. With deer vision, that blue may appear more vibrant to them and on the ground, it may pop out more than K2 does. If you have a day or two to make your decision, i will re-run this comparison in my new format. Also, I will be in CA in a few days and hopefully collect some backgrounds in the high country for early season hunting.
They are specially aware of areas that they frequent. Out in the open, fooling them is tough. Any movement, you are blown. It is best to have front and rear cover that matches your camo and environment.
Looked up the various pricing on this clothing. Folks, this stuff better be the most perfect clothing materials ever as the costs are 100% ridiculous IMO. It better be windproof, waterproof, 100% breathable, and as quiet as the softest fleece on the outside. If it's not, we'll a bowhunter doesn't need it. Quiet outer shell is so very very important IMO.
I’m not seeing astronomical prices, nor huge varieties to choose from or many places to get it. Its just another camo variety out there in the sea of hunt camo. King of the Mountain might have the biggest sticker price but the least amount in advertising.
I think this show that both camo patterns aren’t very good. The big sky seems to be better than the K2. I own several brands of premium camo, that I buy my only when it is on sale. Personally I think Kuiu has better Patterns, selections, and quality than most of the other brands. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still wear the K2 that I own, but I probably won’t buy anymore Killik.
Big sky the winner of this comparison in my opinion

I like that K2 pattern. New and improved camo showdowns are in the works.

@@CamoMatrix I see what your talking about, thank you for getting that video out. Keep up the great work getting us all this
Its 50/50 on the community poll but its just a few votes so far.
No wonder deer see us. We stick out like a sore thumb lol. Only way to stop their vision and confuse them is car headlights.

Grass and leafy, K2, rocks and tree trunks, Big sky. Big sky literally disappears in your Deer vision, tree stand background example.
I need to rerun this one in the new format. On it soon!
#Killik #bigsky for the win

Good info from a killik owner. I have an updated version of this comparison here: th-cam.com/video/4chU_XqC3nc/w-d-xo.html
