65% of the US population lives east of the Mississippi River. I can't see sky as far as the eye can see where I live. These videos are so peaceful and beautiful. I have them on while I'm working. I'm a transcriptionist, so I can't listen to anything that has words, because I won't be able to concentrate on the voices speaking in my headphones as well as the TV. This is perfect. I can look up and see an amazing view with nothing to ruin the aesthetic. Thank you so much. I've binged quite a few.😊
Haven't been to Lake Powell since I was a teenager and at the time the lake was full. I thought it would sadden me to see it as it is but the geology surprised me and put me in wonder of the beauty exposed. Can you imagine the beauty that is still hidden by the lake? Geology is an amazing thing for sure. That drive is beyond gorgeous and some day maybe God willing I can make it in person. Thank you for sharing with us. :D
drove across the strip, St. George to Kanak, many a time. it is a relaxing drive. and back to CA. but haven't been that way for 8 years and been to and from since 1950. Before the strip road opened had to go through Zion. Hurricane is so commercialized, the rest of the drive is basically the same. Thanks for the memories.
Me and my family drove from Moab through Monument Valley to Lake Powell around this time last year, as part of a road trip travelling from Denver to San Francisco. Always been intrigued and curious about Lake Powell since playing Hydro Thunder on the PS1, that featured Lake Powell as a track. And it did not disappoint, seeing the lake for the first time alongside the Glen Canyon dam felt soo surreal, especially during sunrise and sunset. Such a peaceful yet active oasis in the middle of the desert, looking to return at some point in the future for a proper week long or two stay, try some water actives and even camp out ❤
Oh yeah, Hydro Thunder was a great game! Remember playing it on Dreamcast back in the day. If you’re planning to do water sports on Lake Powell I’d recommend jet skiing. It’s a ton of fun and we were able to rent one at Antelope Point Marina.
@@AdventureEveryDay That's awesome! Always great to meet people who remember Hydro Thunder 👍 And way ahead of you when it comes to water skiing, i'd like to try and use my photography and video skills to capture some really stunning shots riding a water ski when I get back there 😎
We’ve been planning on making a trip out that way and recording in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, on the Blue Ridge Parkway and in Shenandoah National Park too.
Right now it's raining a lot in Japan because of the typhoon "Shanshan". Seeing the dry earth and blue sky lifted my spirits. Thank you!
Happy to help, thanks for riding along with us!
Thanks for your wonderful video ride in Arizona 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤😊
