Why was Low-Ki insisting on that guy to pay for a ticket? Was Low-Ki getting a cut of ticket sales that night and things were low? Even then that to me wouldn't justify it, but you can see where he's coming from with that.
AsnycnowRadio indy wrestlers are sometimes touchy about comp tickets because promoters have been known to stiff the talent if the gate is low (not to mention most Indy wrestlers are very lucky to make $100 a show).
Yeah except the people who drive the wrestlers to the show get in free. That's always been the case with Indy promotions how the rule even applies to a lot of higher-end promotions
to be fair low ki had his moment in njpw as a star but as always he blew it because of his horrible attitude.
I would love to hear that phone call.
Does this guy still wrestle in the WWE? I was curious.
I lost it at that voice mail bit
Somebody needs to animate the phone call story.
Kevin Owens one the the best lo key
Low Ki really is the quintessential 'fake tough guy' in pro wrestling. He pretends he's a bigger badass than everyone else in the locker room but is a total putz. I say fake tough guy because notably, despite all his complaints of how he's being held back by the booker's/promoters he's never done legitimate MMA, b/c he knows he's not really that good.
