Rufian vs. Tuna perfectly showcases a biggg problem. People think running around cracked out automatically earns you crimson but it’s the Tuna’s of the world that show that the gunny and the fundamental COD reigns supreme.

Tuna is like one of those players on the Brady New England patriots that just play the game right way. Nothing flashy but is just all around solid and know the fundamentals and just plays the game the right way

This is actually a sick idea for a series. Because there are always people in lower ranks who think they're getting costed (like me) and it's also great to take a no-name crimson player and have him shit on plats and diamonds all day
tbf theres a tonne of diamonds are actually good, im crim 2 (or was till today with the new season) and some diamonds are pretty much as good as some bad iris.
It's because so many people soloQ and in addition I could be frying one game and lose sr but the kid at the bottom of the leaderboard on the opposing team has a 0.5kd and got hard carried. The whole way you get sr in this game is completely broken, the reason I mainly just play resurgence now since it is based off of my individual performance and strategies more than mp. I'm not saying I'm amazing but I've definitely beaten as many diamonds+ as I've lost to.@@adamfirth3082

In fairness, the game protects bad players. Activision hasn’t even been hiding the ball on that one. If you’re solo queuing and you’re good, the game fills your team with people who are worse than you, and expects you to carry them. You can top the entire lobby in every stat for 10 games in a row and still lose every single one because your team either has like 15% accuracy, uses a crutch WSP class with a drum mag, decides to not rotate, not make any callouts, not pay attention to spawns, go AFK for 3 rounds, etc.
Why I stopped playing CDL Ranked. The game turning on you is crazy!
@@MooseKnuckle8 Yeah they need to rework the entire system so that you’re actually rewarded for good performance and punished for poor performance, otherwise the entire purpose of ranking players is lost

Yes but the amount of SR u receive per win will go off your skill, I solo queue and easily hit crim on all my accounts because I get 500 sr each win until i hit plat then 200+ sr until crim. Even if I’m only winning one out of every 5 matches I can hit crim fairly easy.

Hey Colt, I think next time you go to do a challenge like this, have 4 players of a lower rank face 4 players of the rank they think they deserve! I don’t think 1v1s can prove how well a player can play in a competitive setting. Great vid tho!
I was crimson in mw2 but can’t even get out of plat in mw3, solo queuing is a different animal in mw3 man

Bocca lost by 9 seconds but was stuck for 11-12 seconds which was kinda a stitch up imo he would’ve won & deffs deserves a rematch
I noticed the people that tweak the most are these Diamond (probably 1.6-1.8kd players). Most crimson and 2-3kd players don't do all the twitchy spazzy movements- it's usually more controlled
Eu server and legit got stuck in the ground for the seconds that would of won him the game... 👀 That diamond was better then that crim Fax.

If u started from the beginging then its easy to soloq. But not if u started later. Because the possibility u might have good teammates is low.
@@AbuKing01 last season I started with like 20 days left, just gotta be able to carry a team, anything below d2 easy solo carry games cause their game sense not great some got gunnies but most d2 and lower players don’t play obj very well

I think a lot of players are convinced they deserve a higher rank cos they can aim well, everyone can aim well in higher ranks. Guys will win a 1v1 with pure aim and wonder why it doesn’t instantly transfer over to 4v4, it’s like being good in domination and thinking you’d be a pro Search and Destroy player

I played ranked back in season 1 and 2 but haven't played since but I was close to hitting plat 1 but had lost interest in grinding ranked buy in prep for season 6 and bo6 ranked I'm going back into ranked to push for plat, watching this helps me to understand how these higher ranked players play and I plan to implement these into my play style, some stuff I am bad at doing like p4 favela van I struggle to hit players as was shown in the video or another like learning when to challenge and when to push onto a point

Some diamonds are actually ok. I know an IRI who played an alt to help a mate they got hard stuck diamond on that account (IRI player stuck due to bad team mates) its happens to many ppl Im sure

I play with the same guys every night… they’ve hit Crim yet I am in diamond 2… this season has been riddled with disconnects and errors… I dipped into d3… and lost nearly 400 SR to issues… my game recently has went to dashboard 3 games in a row during map countdown.. 3-4 games this season 2nd round of terminal I get kicked once’s the round starts “due to inactivity” even though I’m sprinting… so now I finish D2 and I play in nearly only crim lobbies with my 3 crim friends… this cod has been super fun!
Honestly, I love watching players like Tuna. Winning a 1v1 while being down kills is an honest skill diff, nothing to do with mechanics. That's so much cooler and replicable than every player just montaging their cherry-picked ego challs with some cool-looking mechanic.
We need a low diff (bronze-plats) and a high diff (plat-top250) rank challengers the variety in skill would be hilarious

The difference between pros and regular players is when they are getting sold by teammates one of them blames the other teammates the other looks at themselves to how they could of relied on themselves

The difference is aim and awareness. Tuna hits shots and doesn’t make any unnecessary movements or mistakes

This is my first year actually playing ranked MP & im hard stuck on Silver 2 cause i solo que...I faced a whole squad of gold 2s and 3s and i pooped on them. I should be at least diamond now, but its really all dependent on how dedicated you are to playing ranked for hours on end. I play here and there otherwise i'd be at least crim by now if i was super locked in
Realistically ranks don’t mean shit until you’re iridescent, it’s just about playing enough or partying up, most people should be diamond crim if they had enough time to play
I think the casual standard for good players is diamond. Anything above is like sweaty.. and you need to sacrifice life quality for it.

I have a new idea why don't you have a competition between two people from each rank warzone and multiplayer . For example Crimson from multiplayer and warzone, and at the end of the series you challenge someone from the top 250 in the warzone, Shifty, Biffle ,or someone famous
Honestly it took me FOREVER to move from Gold 3 to Plat 1 and only a couple days from Plat to Diamond, Gold 3 is the worst rank when you solo queue unless you're consistently in god mode.
After Plat you start getting teammates who have a clue of what's going on and if you do well it's much easier to win games and get on a streak.

great content. A couple Overwatch guys that i used to watch do this all the time too. they just make a lobby full of diamonds and put like 1 gold in there that gets to play 2 games, 1 with both teams and see if they can keep up and really are hardstuck golds.
