Haven't watched Beatbox for quiet some time but Inertia is still doing the same stuff he did in 2021. Exactly the same structure, same buildups, same drops.
Man his potential is so great.😕
too bad every single judge is an inertia fanboy giving him wins everywhere

- opening up with some sort of melody humming
- throat/vibration bass beat
- inward bass drop
- high sound spam + inward bass drop

I know right. He had the nerve to hold up 2 fingers like osis was repeating sounds. He's been doing the same thing for 3 years straight.
what Battle did you see? In Round 1 he did something new at the end with this higher sound. At Round 2 he did a completely new flow at the end that he never did so far
Over the last week Osis has climbing to the top of my favourite beatboxers list extremely quickly. His battle against Adi Kerang from this same event is now one of my favourite battles ever.
probably not his best battle yet. he met much more crazier beatboxers in online events

I understand that KI sounds really good on the sound system wherever he is, but there has to be something else besides that. Like on a video, inertia made a bunch of mistakes plus his structure is childlike compared to Osises
Have you been to the live event?
Watch dlow's video about this battle, he says it himself.
On the video osis wins, but live KI won, there is a difference, ki's melodies are easy to follow and vibe with, while osis's are really tech orientated and sometimes hard to vibe with for the general audience, so yeah, you're kinda just hating on ki
Not to mention that ki came out much more powerful compared to osis, which is also important
@@nebojsavelickovic5388tbh there’s a lot of KI haters. They think 3 world champs will vote inertia to win for no reason 😂. While I agree inertia needs to add more and focus on structure and new routines he’s just so powerful on that stage.

they should be voting on skill and complexity , not how loud his throatbass and screams are...

Another skill as a beatboxer is using the sound system to be as powerful as you can, inertia did that beautifully, osis not so much, watch dlow's video about the battle if you want to see how a professional beatboxer judges

This is a copy - paste of my comment on the original video, explaining how Osis 'kinda' lost the battle :
King Inertia is one of the most enjoyable beatboxers to listen to no matter what he does on stage, but he doesn't have a good structure when battling. It always feels like he "thinks too much" when he improvises his rounds. On the other hand, Osis is a flawless battler but he's always quieter than his opponent (Live). It's always easier to vote against him because of the crowd's reaction (I didn't say "Easy", I said "Easier")

Idc what anyone says but Osis smashed it, definitely should have won.
Its like with napom and river i guess... they let the one win who does a simple, more understandable and for the most, more enjoyable track.... really unfair how they changing so much in the beatbox scene with judging. Its like they only want singing, harmonies, basic patterns. Why dont combine? A lot of newcommers were inspired by technical beatboxers. Now i feel like they wont see a bright future in this scene

no matter what just from osis last round it should have been a win he took the crowd and had much better structure and timing.
i really dont get that inertia simping, he is amazing but he should just focus on doing music not battle.
the excuse for his style giving him a lot of points (said by Dlow) is not that great when he makes mistakes but they are getting ignored, why?

I don't like KI's present style. His style in GBB 2021 was absolutely insane, never heard before drops on a GBB level. Vocodah had a similar style and sounds, but oh the power KI has to his bass.
But now, he overuses his high inward to just make vocal scratches a lot. It's not a critique on his technique or his proficiency at what he does. I just don't think I like a round with so much of scratches, like when's the last time a DJ went wham and did so many scratches and you thought "that's cool".
From beautiful melody to heavy drops, it's now beautiful melody to a lot of ugly sounds. KI needs to realize that putting awful sounds to cover up the criticism of being repetitive is just a band aid

Agree. He has a really good inward, but every time he starts to freestyle the timing becomes pretty inconsistent. Also he seems to run out of material pretty often.

I don't know why they keep on winning despite the opponent being better, I think it's bias at this point.
