It will be incredible if it succeeds on the first try. So few ever do. I'm sure their desperate hope it works tempers their haste to launch. Whatever happens, I can't wait to watch!
It’s interesting that they chose to jump straight to a heavy lift rocket instead of developing a smaller orbital rocket to learn from, develop its infrastructure, & make revenue from satellite launches sooner.
That's the problem with trying to deliver a payload on the first flight. It makes it really difficult to be certain you won't destroy millions of dollars in satellites. The choice must have been made by bean counters, not engineers. 😂
I don't think you can say that the New Shepard even does "suborbital" flights since it never pitches downrange. "Sub-orbit" quite literally means "part of an orbit less than a full one," but the New Shepard's flight profile is straight up and straight down. It is a "zero orbit" vehicle.
The problem for Bezos is that he is an organizational online marketing and sales genius, but he's not a physicist or an engineer. Musk is both and knows how to hire the best and engineer and build amazing machines (EV's, rockets, boring machines, computers, etc). Bezos does not. Just because you are the best in the known universe at one thing doesn't mean you can succeed at everything. Stick with your domain expertise if you want to be successful.
that is TIPICAL off his political views, LYING about something doesn't make it true... he is seeing the consequences now. he has no clue what he is doing...
Blue Origin Rockets have a nickname among the general public; let’s call them Richard rockets. And Jeff Bezos has Rocket Envy of SpaceX‘s success. I have always called the Blue Origin launches “Carnival Rides for Billionaires”. They BARELY reach the EDGE of Space and only take 10 minutes from launch to landing. I think that Bezos should leave flights to space to Elon Musk. I fear that New Glen could literally blow up in their face and cause damage and possible injury to personnel. Go buy another yacht Jeff… 😏🙃
They've put 3 starships into low altitude orbit. ANd even if they are behind schedule sending starships to Mars, he's light years ahead of Blue Origin. He's successfully launched the larges and most powerful rocket in history how many times? He's developed a breakthrough engine that is on its 3rd major iteration and puts out more power for its size than eny rocket engine in history, And he's caught a the huge Starship booster on the chopsticks, an amazing technological feet. Now, what has Blue Origin done?
@ It’s not clear that rocket can lift anything which is the purpose of rockets. Elon said in 2918 300 tonnes to LEO then 50 tonnes. I doubt it can lift 50 tonnes. The problem the vehicle is too heavy abd reusability is not free. Like I said, the rockets worth is measured by payload not size. As far as Blue Origin they have not launched anything. That doesnt give Starship a payload..
@@pedrosura Your delusional. Right now Starship has the capacity to lift 250 tons to low earth orbit. Once it is fully reusable that will go down to 150 tons. I'm glad you doubt what Elon says. Where do you get the information to back up your doubts?
@pedrosura, you really shouldn't comment about Starship. Your ignorance is staggering! 😂 IFT 7 will have version 2 that's meant to carry a payload. IFT3 - IFT6 could have achieved orbit. They chose not to since a deorbit burn was questionable. That's why it's a test! Trying new things...
@ “That’s meant to carry a payload” Really? Its flying empty again. We shall see what the performance turns out to be. Lets talk facts, not promises. Elon said 4 launches to Mars this year. He has proven himself to be a BSer. We shall see. I dont think this vehicle even eith v3 can lift 50 tonnes to LEO. You are gullible and just take propaganda as fact. I am very different. I go by demonstrated capabilities. So far, this vehicle has no payloada while Elon claimed 50 tonnes. He is lying
SpaceX blows up rockets before their first launch. Had problems before their rockets could routinely take up payloads and people. Blue Origin is doing things much more safe, and not wasting money by trying not to let their first rockets to explode or crash. Once New Glenn launches and followed by successful flights, the contracts will roll in.
Blue Origin only has a 10 minute tourist ride for the rich, and that's the only thing they will ever have. New Glen is just prop.

I agree. Jeff Bozo is not an engineer. I doubt he knows what he's doing.
It’s interesting that they chose to jump straight to a heavy lift rocket instead of developing a smaller orbital rocket to learn from, develop its infrastructure, & make revenue from satellite launches sooner.
I am sure the engineers at blue have worked on all manor of orbital rockets. The experience is there no doubt.

I believe once Jeff Bezos dies, so does New Glenn and any hope for a competing space launch company. Gosh.
BUT, until then, Jeff Bezos is living his BEST life. 👍🏻🫥
BO problem is it’s owner , enough said

Musk is neither a physicist nor an engineer. He spends billions on hiring the right people to do that job for him.

Ok buddy 😂 blue origin is coming and you can bank on that. They have billions in contracts already
@@irietropicals4255 They need to get off the ground to make money.
In actuality, Jeff Bezos does have an engineering degree, from Princeton. One of his professors there was space guru, Gerard K. O'Neill.
lol. He might as well stick to building his factories everywhere.

Yes he does. Like I said, he is an organizational marketing and sales genius. The most successful in ths hirtory of the world.
Sir Beck vs. Bezos. An engineer vs. a salesman. Neutron vs New Glenn. Guess whom I'm betting on...
Who else saw this coming?
6:50 Dude really? You couldn’t take the time to look up that SpaceX has 128 launches as of Dec 8, 2024! 123 Falcon 9, 2 Falcon Heavy and 3 Starships.
Rescheduled.
Try again.
2026?

it is easier to fail when you burn somebody else's money. Who cares !!!
Again?

Very typical failure of a D E I company.
