Its much easier to use template partials package.That will at least enhance locality of behaviour.In your approach there will be very many html snippets.

HTMX replacing JS, a future where we don't have to worry about type errors

Not replacing JS. Just another thing to use, in sync with JS. But it does allow you to write less JS in many cases.

i was watching the stream and for urls, my suggestion is to put /hx/... instead of /api/...
