Xavier, what you've just owned isn't just a costume. It's a work of art. Even as someone who grew up with the Universal Studios Hollywood version of this suit since I'm a Californian, the Orlando suit is just something special. It's kinda sad how the other suits would end up being destroyed after Marvel no longer needs 'em anymore. But thankfully, your suit will be a reminder of a simpler and pleasent time. Also shout out to Greg Kelley who helped you with that suit. Keep on web-slinging, Xavier.

I love how charming this suit is. It’s just red and blue spandex, no fancy shading or patterns. I think if they like made the blue darker and made the lenses a bit fancier they could’ve used this in the movies.
My dad went to school studying film in Orlando, and he worked at Universal, and for one short film project in his class, he was able to "borrow" one of these Spider-Man costumes for the short. Apparently, the teacher liked it so much, he used it as an example project for several years after.
Hearing Xavier's voice come out of a Spider-Man costume kinda feels right, in a weird way? His voice just suits Spidey so much, as I'm sure hundreds of other people had already said. I'm not saying he's like THE BEST, BAR NONE, EVERYONE'S NOTHING IN COMPARISON, but he's pretty good and got the chops for it. Anyway, congrats on getting the costume! I work for Marvel Live and this is still the suit we use for all of our meet n' greets and stage shows. I have three of these sitting in my bedroom right now. Given how long they've been using this suit and how Universal STILL licenses this suit from us I had no idea there was demand for this style of suit. I feel like it's the ONLY Marvel Live suit that has never been updated. Like I'm wearing the same one today that I met when I was a child. It seems like Universal changed their suit but us in the traveling group absolutely still use the version with the larger eyes. Our soles are nicer though (two versions) and no chin guard.
Fun fact: Spiderman was originally red and black in his first few appearances and was supposed to have a horror element, hence why he was so spindly and was in awkward poses in the early comics. With this knowledge, seeing a dude rapidly climb a wall and dodging bullets in tights seems pretty unsettling
I don't think I can properly articulate how happy I am to see this suit. I had gone to Universal Studios back in 2005 and it blew my mind to see Spidey in person. Seeing the movies was one thing, but getting to high five and strike a pose with the web-head was the greatest feeling. I hope this suit becomes something that cosplayers look back to for inspiration, it's too good to be forgotten.

That suit is awesome! It just has the right amount of web patterns. The red and blue is recognizable. The spider logos are classics, and not exaggerated or generic. The shape of the lenses are balanced. But mostly importantly, IT’S A WORK OF ART! I know you don’t like being seen as a Spider-Man channel, but your videos about the character are just full of love and dedication that it’s inspiring! Keep up the awesome content, Xavier! I’m currently in contact with the marvel performance group to become one of their Spidey’s after meeting a star lord performer who also did spidey. He happened to show me a picture of him in the suit, and it’s the universal suit. The marvel performance group has been using the universal suit since the 90s, and it’s still the suit they use at all appearances not involved with Disney. I really hope I get accepted, if so, I will finally have one of these suits in my possession.

I remember being a kid and watching all of the trailers for the original ps1 games, and seeing all sorts of ads with that spider-man suit. I always wanted one for the main reason of, IT HAS A SPIDER ON THE BACK!!!! Seriously, I feel like back in the late 90s to early 2000's into the 2010's almost NO store bought spider-man costume had a spider on the back, or gloves, or the feet with soles on them. Nowadays u can pick up a full tom holland spidey suit with gloves and a spider on the back hahaha. To see you living the dream most of us spidey fans have had since we were children, is seriously so heartwarming, and hope bringing Xavier! Thanks for sticking with us all, and continuing to do TH-cam. You continue to bring hope to our lives, and show us that it's okay to play dress up, even as adults! Excelsior to you!
