I've crocheted for many years and watched thousands and more even tutorials and I must say u are the one to speak in the best tone and explain things for people who didn't know the stitches. Brilliant
Thank you so much Claudetta, I am fascinated with this beautiful stitch. I am so glad that you have shown me how to do this. I had heard of Tunisian crochet before but it seemed so difficult. With this stitch I can make a baby blanket for my friend - cannot thank you enough. When I get proficient with this stitch I will try the more complicated ones.
The honeycomb stitch appears to be a simple but effective stitch. This is one I will definitely use and try to master before I use it in a baby blanket.
Thank you for sharing this excellent video. Im an experienced. Crocheter yet new to Tunisian stitching. Love the diversity and thickness of the patterns.
Excellent tutorial! Very clear explanation and visuals. It was extremely helpful to see her repeat the stitch and explanation slowly, over and over for a full row or two instead of showing once or twice then skipping to the end of the row. Like having a teacher right there with you. I think even my 10-year-old could learn the stitch from this!
Thank you for your wonderful tutorial. I use to crochet with my Tunisian hooks and this stitch was one of my favorites, but I had totally forgot how to do it; so it was great to remember it. Again, I love your explanation, it makes it so easy to understand. Kudos!
Very nicely made video... Tunisian crochet is easy. I have done it. I had to make my own hook from a dowel I got from the hardware store, so it was twice as satisfying to finish the project.
You are such a great teacher! You go at an excellent speed, your instructions are clear and we can see everything as you use beautiful colours. Thank you so much for working so hard. I know its not easy making a video in two languages. 🙏🏻🙏🏻😍
You are an amazing teacher!!!! I love the way you explain everything. You make it so easy to understand. Thank you. I will definitely be trying to learn new crochet stitches from your tutorials.
I have been crocheting for most of my life. I found this video superbly done. Now I want to try Tunisian! Excellent, excellent video and explanation. Thank you
I love tunesian crochet and am slowly learning just by watching, I made an entrelac lap blanket for my mum and she passed in 2020 so I have it now and have been looking for something different, I like this stitch, I'm wondering how long before the muscle memory kicks in and it becomes natural to do that pearl stitch. Thank you so much, I also love your colourful hook. 🥰
so in depth, I love it! I definitely need to get on the tunisian game, I love both crochet and knitting, but knitting stitches have always been quite appealing, however re-learning knitting is a lot harder for me than crochet at the moment. This is kinda like the best of both worlds it seems!
When she lists the supplies she says it is a 6 mm hook. I believe you would use the size that the yarn suggests. But I feel like I crochet on the right side, so I typically use a size larger than what it calls for. 😆!!! It looks lovely and she makes it look so simple.
It will be awesome I am sure! It will just make the spaces in your yarn larger. This is sometimea done on purpose to make the yarn "drape". Have fun learning. You are goinf to make "mistakes". But that is how you learn! And sometimes those "mistake" end up making your project better!!!!
If you want to make a baby blanket using the honeycomb stitch, how is it possible to chain stitch 138 chains and still do the tunisian crochet with all those loops on one crochet hook?
Im trying to hard to get the 14 chains. I this is my first time and it's so hard to hold the yarn cause it's either getting too tight or too loose. I have a peaches and cream cotton yarn. I'm using a 5 hook. It's soo annoying
This is the most comprehensive explanation! A novice can easily understand and follow. Thank you sooo much!❤
That was the best demonstration of a tunisian pearl stitch that I have come across!
I LOVE THIS!!!! You are a GREAT instructor.
Thank you for this pattern, love it going to make a small throw afghan with it! Your directions are very clear❤❤❤!!!

Adorei, muito bem explicado! Obrigada pela aula maravilhosa!
I love the hook you are using!!!! It has such a nice point on it!!! Can you share who makes them? Or where we might find them.
I'd like to know what size she's using.
When she lists the supplies she says it is a 6 mm hook. I believe you would use the size that the yarn suggests. But I feel like I crochet on the right side, so I typically use a size larger than what it calls for. 😆!!! It looks lovely and she makes it look so simple.
@@kinzieb3239 Hi Kim... I'm new to all this so I was unsure! Thanks. I bought some yarn and a 6.5 mm hook so I'm hoping that works :)
It will be awesome I am sure! It will just make the spaces in your yarn larger. This is sometimea done on purpose to make the yarn "drape". Have fun learning. You are goinf to make "mistakes". But that is how you learn! And sometimes those "mistake" end up making your project better!!!!
I learned so much
Thank you so beautiful I was wondering how can you do it if wanted 150 stitches please help
hi. i'm new to this crochet thing . i think it's cool and a bit complicating. but good job anyway.
Awesomeee
❤️🙏
It's lovely thank you 😍
This is wonderful for the absolute novice. It's quite repetitive for an experienced person.
Where did you get your hook, it’s beautiful
It‘s linked in the Description 😊
@@kijona it’s not the same one.
This would be my first time learning the Tunisian method what yarn weight would I need and what size needle would be best for a beginner
Thank you for this video,... I’m gonna give it a try.. 😊
Where did u get your hook? Awesome vid
Stefani Griffith They are Knit Picks wooden hooks. You can find them on Amazon. :)
I love that needle. Where can I get them? Also can you make a afghan with this pattern?
The link to the needle is in the German version of this tutorial;)
Very lovely tutorial and thank you, also where can we find the same hooks you have?
Check out her German version of the tutorial:) there are the links in the description!
Thank you
Hi can you let me know which hook you are using please thank you.by the way great tutorial.
Marlene Jolicoeur it’s the knit pro Tunisian crochet hook
Claudetta Crochet thank you what size please
Can you teach how can increase stitch?
If you want to make a baby blanket using the honeycomb stitch, how is it possible to chain stitch 138 chains and still do the tunisian crochet with all those loops on one crochet hook?
We have the same hook 😍
Is there a multiple of chains that you need to start with or does it work with any number?
I believe it would have to be an even number if every other stitch is different so it would end with a completed pattern.
❤️
Can you share which Tunisian hooks you are using please?
Question what do you do with the curling effect? Block it??
The honeycomb stitch does not have the same curling effect as the simple stitch.
Im trying to hard to get the 14 chains. I this is my first time and it's so hard to hold the yarn cause it's either getting too tight or too loose. I have a peaches and cream cotton yarn. I'm using a 5 hook. It's soo annoying
what size needle and yarn weight would i use for a size I needle 14" i love the longer needles its a BOYD needle
Have you tried Tunisian Braided Stitch? Thank you
