MOST EXCELLENT showcase video. Immensely enjoyed, and it is just what I needed to pull the trigger. Thanks a mint, and until I get mine, please keep the videos coming. HG owes you for this one.
Wow just checked the price. That's alot of truck for the money, to scratch build this would cost a small fortune. Very good value. It's well out of my budget tho but I can dream
Cracking stuff, Phil! I don't know why, but I always enjoy the shots you take of the trucks running through water the most! Excellent footage all round though mate. As always, I hope your weekend is a good one! :)
I love running through water.... just takes for ever to dry them out in the winter! This one doesn't fit in the oven! Cheers Mark... Wet weekend ahead!
is awesome my buddy nice👌work. about this truck.! she needs diff luck you can use it from the radio control like trx6 benz traxxas .well amazing video pal thx
Nice run in our gloomy weather lol......Postie just delivered mine woohoo, but cant play until tomorrow, got to take the girls to the O2 to watch Little Mix :(
This is the level of scale detail I would like for a model .. I love wpl so much but this is above and beyond .. definitely going to be saving some pennies away for this 😅 just hard to decide after seeing so many nice models but I think I'd like to get into the crawler/ scale side of things .. I'm going to leave drift to the professionals
I really think that this is an amazing rc, if it was mine, the first thing I'd do is to lock the diffs as soon as I got it out of the box, I'd rather have traction than wheel spin. I'd also get the nastiest, noiseist diesel engine sound for the engine to get the best possible audio experience I could. Something from the sixties, like an old perkins of Bedford lol
Luv the video!!!! Looks like you modified the headlights to turn on while stationary and not just during acceleration. I believe diff locking pins come in the box.......am I correct??? My P602 upgraded version is still in the box......I'm trying to find the time reorganize an under utilized space and add a shelf system.......I so desperately want to open the box but I need some place to safely store it first. Fixing up this space is gonna take me a minute.......it's driving me nuts!!!!!
Cool truck but looks like the rear axles could use more center pivot and wheel travel but maybe the real mraps are like that. Either way I bet it would go better off road with more of both in the rear. Front looks like it has decent wheel travel and articulation though. The real regular 6x6 trucks both US and Russian really pivot the rear axle package severely to help with extreme terrain. The ww2 stuff mostly used frame flex to help with that, at least the bigger 4x4 trucks like my 41 Power wagon 1/2 pickup did. My Jeep the suspension was surprisingly compliant and you could drive 20 to 30 mph on a rough field pretty well as it kinda soaked up the minor bumps and somewhat actually rode better.
Impressive video. I want one of these as well. I definitely will save up for it. Did you do some waterproofing on the electronics or any particular component prior to running it in the water? I know it's late but I just recently saw this and happened to see your video. Thanks!
Just got mine the other day but unfortunately I have to fix a few things first. Missing a few bearings in the wheel hubs, missing a few bits and bobs, smoke machines not working and the motor looked like it came from the bottom of the ocean with how corroded it was 😔. So mine is gonna be a project which sucks
@@TomleyRC got mine from banggood which was odd because I never had issues in the past with my orders. I got the smoke machine working, simple fix as the plug wasn't on the piston. Now on to looking through my rc parts to see if I can find spare bearings that'll fit and just ordered a 55T rc4wd motor to slow the beast down a bit as it looked like it accelerates too fast for scale. I drove the real ones and they don't exactly accelerate like a dragsters, lol
Unboxed mine and everything works fine, no missing parts or broken......even the box was mint, makes a nice change from the usual bashed boxes lol. The Humvee P408 should be here next week with the Hemmt P801, got a very good deal for both :)
Mine doesn't work either. The plug is there on mine but I can't figure out where it gets plugged into. The instructions aren't the clearest either. But you can adjust the volume manually but you have to take the body and interior off to get to the volume control which is a bummer
Man, what a beautiful truck! Awesome ride, dude!!! 😃 BTW, yesterday I published a review video with +/- 3 minutes of flight video near the end... I flew in the beach near my house! 😃 Check it out when you can! It's a beautiful spot! 😃
I'm out of words with this. Just like a real truck. Amazing

Thanks dude. I love the recent HG releases... my Hummer was a lot of fun. I broke and axle pin though I think... only 3wd at the moment.
I broke the servo arm on my Hummer. I replaced the servo and didn't adjust properly (stripped horn). Took FOREVER to get a replacement from China.

Love it! And thanks for not having music!
awesome 6x6 military truck and great run

Look's fantastic. Amazing footage, if it was mine I would put it back on the shelf all dirty and muddy
Yes, nice and scale
That quite big and expensive
That little truck i cant afford but duh thus is amazing!
It does look awesome mate👍😊🇬🇧👊😎
Yes, very nice looking, and drives well too!
is awesome my buddy nice👌work. about this truck.! she needs diff luck you can use it from the radio control like trx6 benz traxxas .well amazing video pal thx
Yes, it certainly does needs locked diffs, unfortunately these need stripping down to lock them
Great video even though you went down there to your local swamp and got your kicks all muddy!
I forgot my wellies!
Looks like some thick axle grease needed to try and limit the wheelslip, but locking axles on this would make it awesome. Nice test and cool truck
It has pins to lock the axles...but I think you need to strip them done to do it
@@TomleyRC that's pretty cool then. Lock the centre and rear possibly and leave front open
Is there a way to disable the turn signals? They should've left it as park lights or put it on a switch.
Yes, you can unplug them. They all individually plug in to a lighting unit
Love the lights smoke n sounds...clearence seems a lil low
Nice run in our gloomy weather lol......Postie just delivered mine woohoo, but cant play until tomorrow, got to take the girls to the O2 to watch Little Mix :(
Little Mix or RC... hmmmmm tough choice lol

Absolutely Outstanding truck, if Traxxas made this it would be about £1500 lol , really enjoyed every minute of this video Phil 👍😁👍
Yeah, £1500 and would have a Lexan body 😂 Cheers Tony 👍
How did you insert the stepladder at the back, I don't see the holes for screws.... 😀
It screws from underneath

Yes, diffs need locking
@27brainiac unfortunately this model you have to disassemble the axle itself to lock the diffs.
Cool video
Great video 👍👍

haha...get it out the box! The lights are an easy fix. Just switch the headlights in to the spare 'fog light' space.
@@TomleyRC Yeah, you're right.....before I go completely nuts!!!! Thanx for the light switcharoo tip!!!
You are really brave. I wonder what will happen if the truck overturns with all the accessories still on top? Will the turret be crushed?
Yes, would probably break a few things!
That thing is a beast! Love all the details! Will it take 1/4stick blast from underneath I wonder? LOL!!!! Cool video bud! 👍👊🤘
Only one way to find out haha
Nice video! How did you water proofed the sound/light units?
Awesome!!!
Fine !! does it has steering wheels and speed ?

Yes not sure...I guess watching some videos of the real thing should give us an idea

Hello, very nice video of this great model. One question: Is the channel 12 Master Volume working at you model ? (loud/not loud)
No, it doesn't seem to be.

I’d love one of those dude next Xmas I reckon 😱😱😱😱👍
Have you had any quality problems? My one had a drive shaft pin fall out twice and one of the shocks fell off
Not yet mate... I broke a diff on the Hummer, replacement part is $12, so not to bad. Also broke a driveshaft on the 8x8, but again, cheap to fix
Tomley RC Garage hm ok. Just an opportunity to upgrade parts!
What camera are you using if I had to guess id say its a red camera the quality is amazing? Its a iphone or something isnt it?
GoPro Hero 7 Black 👍🏻
Such a nice truck, what was the run time on it?
Over an Hr on a 4500mah 2s Lipo
Nice run, but way to expensive for my wallet.
It’s waterproof? 😎
50/50...... the Servo is, and the ESC... but the sound/light unit isn't
A bit more hardcore than the wpl 👍
Yes, just a little!
Have you had a chance to have a play with the HG P801/802
superbe

no wonder what country make this R/C military truck MRAP
China, of course.
Bad boy needs some selectable lockers lol or Torsens at least..
Agree
Should I buy this or the Xbox series x?
haha... good question!
Love the truck but I just don't have the money
hey help me to get this rc car
What does it cost?
Everything
Found the answer in the thread. =)😀🤣
Great military truck, I want one too. Like and sub you my friend 🥰🥰🥰🍻🍻
These things are awesome for sure. I love mine and I think they're worth every penny, especially for what you get 👍
The price on this RC truck and sky high and the diffs dont seem to be locked from the looks of it driving off road.
