- Hi guys! I've been looking forward to making this video! Our church has started worshiping to this song and I thought it would be great to showcase on my channel. I switched up the setup for this video (and possibly more) to fit more to the style of song. I actually enjoy playing different setups all the time because it frees you up to try new things. What I really appreciate about this is that it is a true cover, not just a bunch of random riffs to show off how good you are. I feel like I can show my church drummers this and they can get a good idea of how the song should be played.
That's my goal with these! I'll mix it up playing live but my covers generally are trying to show the original part.

...and that's what I think the drummers should do most of the time - to compliment with the song & support the vocal. Sad to see drummers in some churches just getting the attention of congregation(maybe unintentionally) instead of ushering them into worship.
