I agree with you my friend. The anime is built according to the canons and clichés of that time. A strong hero saves himself, his friends, his girlfriend and ordinary people by getting into adventures. There are a lot of things in it that I love, especially unexpected twists in the plot and the death of characters to which we are gradually tied by their story and motivation.
