Watching you and Brooke shell the peas brought tears to my eyes, Jason! You honor your grandfather each time you use the tractor or pea sheller! What a gift to have the gardening knowledge he taught you--as well as the farm equipment! I know you cherish the memories!
I love the fact that Moody squeezes his 3,000 lb body in that little shadow of the only tiny tree in the pasture!😂😂 I think that is a hilarious picture!😊❤
WOW! What a harvest you got and you aren’t even close to being done. What a blessing. Oh to see Moody and Mildred just enjoying their air conditioner is very satisfying to watch. Thank you for loving all your babies so much. I love to start my day with a smile on my face and you all always provide such joy. God bless you
I really love watching your videos. You two are so kind to your animals. You love them like they're your pets. I think you've said before that they're your pets. I've not seen any unhappy animals on your farm. Mildred's asleep, Moody is just laying down chillin', you've got the emus and even Jessie loving the misters. My heart was so happy when I saw Gus and Loretta in their wallows. What a beautiful family you all are.
Moo, man, is just beautiful. He and Mildred are so lucky to have you to take care of them. I watch so many farm channels, and I see how different others treat their animals, and it's so noticeable. I think a lot try to talk to their animals but you can tell it's just for the camera. You and Brooke are genuine, and we can tell just by the way the animals respond to you. You will always be my favorite farm family. I watched G&G feeding the animals while you were away, and Peaches got upset from being woke up. I could tell Peaches wanted to be left alone but I loved the way the lady continued to respect Peaches. I think Peaches called herself protecting the barn and animals from an intruder. Lol.😊
It makes me so happy when they go into the milking room and I get to see the diamond painting I did for them of granddaddy’s tractor with the red background and I painted Cog Hill Farm on the bottom of the canvas…I hope y’all enjoy it also 😊. Have a great weekend everyone…God bless ❤️😇❤️.
Good morning, guys! ❤ Man, I could just feel myself sitting on your porch in your rocker shelling peas while watching it rain. I used to love spending the cooler evenings, shelling peas, breaking beans, and shucking corn. I love living vicariously through you. Love y'all.
My gracious Mildred and MooMan are truly living their best lives🫶🏻🫶🏻🌸🩷🐝🐝🐝😁🩷🌸. ALL the Cog hill animals are living their best lives😊. God bless you all🙏🏻😇
Your milking room was a good decision and addition to your barn. How heavenly to have an air-conditioned area for food preservation, freeze drying, and farm stand egg prep!
Animals are loving the misters 😊. Granddaddy was such a creative man. 😇. Plants did so well this year. Another year of eating enjoyment 🤗. So great to see Brooke by your side in the garden. Enjoy the rain 🌧️ Blessings 🙏🫶🙏🫶
I love watching the pea sheller. It's fascinating how it works. I really enjoy just watching the daily life of Cog Hill Farm. Your bees are happy and healthy. Good honey.
Good Morning Cog Squad I hope everyone is having a good day and a wonderful weekend. So syto hear about Mr.Roy breaking his hip prayers for his speedy recovery.
I bought a bushel of Conk Peas last month and had to shell them by hand. It's exhausting work for your hands. They were delicious. Did either one of you see the video Stephanie Denman (The Denman Homestead - Lester's nephew's family channel) put out earlier this week. She made whipped honey in her stand mixer. It looks easy to do and delicious.
The pastures look wonderful since you finally are getting rain! Moody's like okay just to please you I'll go under the mistters, I'm a male, I don't need that, Lol! Now he probably won't go out!! You have enough beans to feed half the county!! You'll be glad when you finally pick them all!! Wonderful the bees are thriving and working so hard!! Thank you for sharing part of your day!! You all make it look easy on video but know it couldn't be.
That Cog Hill honey is the best of the best. It’s my love language, my favorite sweet, my comfort food. Thank all the busy bees 🐝 M&M is just enjoying the best spa ever - I bet it helps with the flies too ! Love the purple eye pea sheller! Someone found a problem and fixed it right. Life is good !! Y’all be good - love to the Cog Squad and Cog Hill ❤
Love watching your Video's! Wow all the purple peas! Catching Moo uner the mister! Very interesting about the Bees. And shelling the peas with the machine!!!❤❤
Do the silkies need another "Cheese" to prevent hawks, foxes, and other predators? When will they start laying? Thank you for sharing your lives with us!!
Jason you look really handsome in those shirts. I'm so happy for you guys with having such a large crop of peas. Your farm animals are so lucky to have you both, they always look so happy 😁💕🙏
Your grandpa was a great inventory, I remember helping my grandma with picking and shelling them. My thumb and fingers was so purple from it but boy was it worth it. They taste so good I love them with cornbread. If you get to much of them see how well they will sell at the fruit stand. I know if I was there I would buy some. Moo man is loving the sprinkler ❤.
I’ve been shelling peas from my garden by hand. It’s a lesson in patience. But they sure tasted good with salt pepper and butter. Love the machine Would like to have one of them.
Watching y'all Harvest those peas with just beautiful. I can't believe how much honey you're getting. You guys are so blessed. And so much fun seeing Eminem enjoying the misters. God bless you all so much❤❤❤
What a great video, thsnk you!! The mister system is so great!! You guys are the best! Wow Great grandaddys sheller invention is tops! What a time and finger saver!!💜🙏💜
The animals are really enjoying the misters. Your granddaddy's machine is such a treasure. That machine saves so much time. Have a wonderful day and stay cool. God Bless.
I m so glad you have items that your Granddaddy had. And you can pass it on to your family. Your Granddaddy is looking down ans so proud of you. Hes your special Angel 😇. Love you guys.
M&M are so happy!! As for the bees - I don’t think you should bee 🐝 at all surprised at how much honey they give you! You’re always thinking about them and planting with them in mind. Between the radishes going to bloom, the African blue basil, the zinnias, the buckwheat and all the other flowers you plant for them they’re feasting every day! The least they can do is pay you back in honey!!
The pea hauler is so fascinating, makes you appreciate the ingenuity of pioneers. Gris mills are another marvel, every time we lose some modern day connivence not sure how we'd survive.
I just love watching you guys. I’m glad Brooke is feeling better. It’s fantastic that you are using your grandfathers tractor and pea sheller. It’s nice that you allow MaryCarl to make her decisions on being in the videos or not. I’m glad you had a great vacation. ❤
Boy! You sure got a mess of peas!! I'm in Central Georgia, and we are enjoying these afternoon shower too!! It has been so dry. Looks like everyone is loving those misters!!
It brings my heart joy to see you still using your grand daddy's pea shelling machine. how is his tractor running for you? I thought you had a bit more trouble with it after you got it back. Loved seeing Moody resting under the mister finally.
Sending love and prayers for our Cog Hill family today.❤ We enjoy your page so much. I am envious of that beautiful pea patch. That is one of my favorite vegetables.
So glad Moo-Man loves the mister. He & Mildred look so peaceful. That peasheller is such a simple concept, but boy that is something I would definitely want if I had a BUNCH of peas to shell. So glad y’all have that to help you on the farm. Have a great day.
I LOVE seeing the S. Chickens running around in the stalls, barn and pasture. Boy they have it made🤗. I’m thinking y’all should leave them there and hatch some more for the Garden behind your house, then Brooke gets to have more chick’s and it will be closer to y’all being ready for them👍🏻. Just a thought😊. They just look so happy where they are😁but gracious they would have it made anywhere on your farm😁❤️❤️. I love y’all🫶🏻. God bless🙏🏻. THANK YOU BEES 🐝!!!! I LOVE YALL’S HONEY 🍯 AND WILL NEVER EAT STORE BOUGHT HONEY AGAIN!!! Paying for your daddy for a speedy recovery🙏🏻. 550Lbs. Of honey in a year……. WOW 🤩!!
Pink Eye Purple Hull Peas were my grandmother's favorites. I bet I shelled a mess of those as a young girl when visiting her each summer. Thanks for the memories!
I remember many summers at my grandparents' place in central Louisianna, picking and shelling pink-eyed purple hull peas. My mom and grandma would spend hours canning or blanching/freezing them, while grandpa always kept some back for the next year's seed. I remember my thumbs being sore from popping off the end of the pea, then running my thumb down through the hull to loosen the peas into a bowl. The hulls got dumped into the pig pen so nothing was wasted. Y'all bring back memories of my youth - of about 50 years ago! 😃😄
Jason, my wife and I came up with a great name for Mildred and Moo-man’s shelter……..(The Cog Hill Cow-Wash)!!! Never miss an episode, got y’all on the Big-screen !
It is fantastic. That you have something from your Graddaddy that is still working.keep it safe and you can past it onto your grandchildren bless god for your rain
All my senses are fulfilled when watching your videos.❤ The misting system is a blessing for those hot days. Wow the pea shucking machine is a marvel!!

@patevans3709 *** I had the exact same reaction. Grandaddy's legacy lives on through Jason.
Yes, grandfather is looking down from Heaven with a smile...:)
AMEN🙏🏻
Beautifully said
You said that so well, it is exactly what I was feeling.
I love the fact that Moody squeezes his 3,000 lb body in that little shadow of the only tiny tree in the pasture!😂😂 I think that is a hilarious picture!😊❤
I think Moody thinks he's smaller than he is.😊 love him!
There are shaded woods on two sides of the pasture. So tree is not the only shade.
Need to put the Pea pusher on a table in the middle then use can feed it from both side u on one Brook on the other side
WOW! What a harvest you got and you aren’t even close to being done. What a blessing. Oh to see Moody and Mildred just enjoying their air conditioner is very satisfying to watch. Oh I love those kind of peas. I wish i lived closer to you.
I really love watching your videos. You two are so kind to your animals. You love them like they're your pets. I think you've said before that they're your pets. I’m guessing Mildred and Moody got into a little spat last night and he was” In The Doghouse”. Glad to see she let him under the mister finally 😅
Ha ha, good thinking!!! Moody thinks Mildred messed with the mister!😅😂❤
Good morning, guys! ❤ Man, I could just feel myself sitting on your porch in your rocker shelling peas while watching it rain. I used to love spending the cooler evenings, shelling peas, breaking beans, and shucking corn. I love living vicariously through you. Love y'all.

Moody and Mildred are too sweet ❤❤😊
I don't know how many siblings you have but are you the only one that farms? Love watching you guys.
I think Brooke is an only child. I think Jason has a couple siblings but don’t think they got bit by the farming bug like Jason did.
That was so awesome. Love seeing people use and do things the old fashioned way. ❤❤❤
