Normally you don't play War Thunder. You suffer War Thunder. But you my, you are truely playing the game. Was it actually fun doing all this? I don't have words for the bomb stunts. Insane. And I'm still only 3minutes into the video.
Getting the bomb kills was weirdly enjoyable, even if it took probably around 150 games for four kills (there was a lot of suffering). The Pe-8 itself is imo one of the most fun planes in the game
Amazing. My suggestions for future videos: - Halifax. Its 7.7s can take a lot to get used to but 8x of them goes surprisingly hard at 4.0 - G8N1. The OG death star, that somehow got forgotten about even though it's unironically kinda OP. Even Do-335s fear this thing
My only problem with the Halifax is that the kill time is rather long, otherwise very fun to play. The G8N1 video was supposed to come even before the Pe-8

Also you don´t happen to know if a torpedo detonated by gunfire mid air actually fuses and creates shrapnel. If anyone knows the answer I figured you might be one of them
@@Kudaku I didnt know you can detonate them lmao. All I know is torpedoes dont have collisions when hitting planes mid air like bombs do. But havent tried detonating them with guns
Torpedoes do have collision with planes now, don´t know since when, they do very little though. Hit a flat spinning Fw190 with one and only took of his rudder. Was a bad hit since it wasn´t center mass

Love the content! I keep finding myself back to this video, trying to replicate the awesome aim and precison. What gun convergence distance were you using? Any tips for switching from normal mouse-camera-control to gun camera control while doing a 360? Instant subscribe, awesome stuff.
The gun convergence for bombers is always 400m you cant change it. I have "R" bound to normal mouse-camera-control, so I can switch between them by just pressing V and R

Another way I've figured out how to do it is you can pull up slightly and lob the bomb, then neg g under it to shoot it, but I've only done it in custom battles. From my experience it tends to come with self disassembly, but do you think there's any merit to the idea?
Can you tell me the parameters you did this at, like how fast you were when you lob the bomb, the rough angle you lob the bomb, altitude, do you shoot it with the 20mm´s or the 12,7mm and roughly how often it works for you. I tried it already based on how you explained it but I only got it to explode once, so I hope Im doing something wrong and you have a better success rate at this

If I recall correctly it used to phase through the plane if you dropped and instantly pitched down at ~300kph, but it seems to just instantly hit the airframe now. Think they also gave the bomb a little downwards kick that it didn't have before, it feels a lot harder to get under it. I also can't get it now lol
Yeah they definitely changed something with the bombs. I tested the Shackleton and the bombs no longer jump two meters in the air and phase through the airframe after dropping them
how do you prevent your guns from focusing onto a point that's just way too close? I have the modifications and the exact same settings but simply cannot hit anything that's able to hit me also increasing targeting distance, removing it and vertical targeting seem to do nothing. maybe that's how you shoot as well, I can't see where the tracers are going so idk
Sadly not really possible, you cant drop the bomb with the Lancaster in the optimal angle, so it stall´s in the air and you can actually hit it. The reason it works with the Pe-8 is because its a big bomb and you can release it at any angle, like you can be upside down press space and its going to fall through you
