遣唐使を廃止し、ひらがなを発明した菅原道真。太宰府天満宮が一番有名だが、湯島天神、北野天満宮やここ、大阪天満宮もかなり有名である。
そもそも忘れ去られているが、大阪は豊臣秀吉の大阪城があった事もあるが、仁徳天皇時代の首都、難波宮があったからこそ今なお栄えており、阪急も南海も近鉄もここを起点としているはずである。日本の米が全国からここに集まってきていた。
