It's one month away from 2023 and this is still one of my favorite yoyo performances of all time. I love how you can see the dedication on your face during the freestyle and see how proud you was of yourself after the performance. Yoyo freestyles are an emotional thing for me a lot of the times bc I can see the emotions on your guys faces as you do this and this is something I do to escape the world as well and have since a child.
This is a rare example of someone doing something very well that actually gets me inspired to practice rather than discouraging my lack of skill.
He makes this look so fun and I'm absolutely jealous of the insane groove he's having.

djdestroyer Eptic - Space Cats (Trampa Remix) is very similar to that song, but I'm not too big of a trap or dubstep fan. If someone else has any more suggestions, those might be more of what you're looking for.

1A is super fun to play as a casual fan but as far as watching a performance, the extra element-whether it be the counterweight or another yo-yo-is so much more exciting. In person it might be different, but even through the tiny screen, this incredible performance hit me in the face more than any 1A ever has.

I watched this yesterday and thought the sequence from 1:19-1:36 was especially dope but today 1:28 literally gave my shivers. This guy knows how to make his moves go with the music.

jahiko123 but 1a is easier to learn.
1a is easiest to learn but most difficult to master.
Xeoray's AutoLife 5a is so hard to learn but once you are used to it you are basically a master, if you start 1a it's very easy to learn but it will take years to become a master, it took gentry stein 10 years to become what he is
5a is difficult and lot more trick variations whereas 1a is just copying others tricks to win or you could be like takeshi but in this day and age, the tricks used by everyone in 1a are all the same and became boring as a result

Anthony Johnston That style was invented by Steve Brown prior to 1999 and was then called Freehand. The official term now is 5A.
btw: Yo-Hans is still alive and founded the brand/company of the Yo-Yo that Jake used during his freestyle (YoYoFactory)

How long does it take to fully master the tricks.. I use to yoyo as a child. Basic, effiel tower, rock baby etc.. but want to get a yo-yo and start learning tricks again
