- Zac Efron opened up about his grandmother's passing and his "hero" grandfather, who celebrated his 91st birthday with photos of Zac as decoration. He also talked with Ellen about how challenging it was to play real-life serial killer Ted Bundy in "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile."

Zac Efron is such a good hearted person everything that comes out his mouth is positive and so respectful. I really really look up to him he’s such a good person and a great role model. He cares so much and I just really want to meet him and just experience this in person not just over the screen
I love Zac Efron. He needs to get more recognition than he does....he’s just such a beautiful person inside and out and he’s done a great job not letting Hollywood get to his head, especially after being a “Disney kid”. Keep it up, you’re on your way to that Oscar!
His relationship with his grandparents is so amazing but I also want people to acknowledge that he's bringing up such great discussion points about the public/people's perceptions of serial killers. I'm excited for this movie and simultaneously sorry for him and his family's loss.

My family and I lost mine around late-September of 2015 and that still stings, but I do have positive days where I can live a happy life, yet there are other times where I'm so mentally bombarded by thoughts of missing her and wishing I could go next-door to her house and sit for a few hours just to talk with her, so I know how that goes, man. Continued condolences to the family and yourself - but it's cool to hear you speak kind words of your grandparents.
