My mom and I stopped here while on our way up to visit family in Webster this past weekend. I wouldn't have even known about this cemetery without your videos! We parked at the little lot there in Trilby and found it with no problem. As we were walking around, I kept almost stepping on graves because they were so covered in leaves. Kinda sad to see the condition it was in and these graves mostly just forgotten. Keep up the great work on your videos because you've given me a long list of places to explore that I wouldn't have known about otherwise!
Glad you enjoy them and that they inspire you to find these places! I don't always give away the clues on how through the videos but sometimes you just have to get out here to find things, get into the wilderness. If you do need some assistance just comment on the video I'll try and help you the best that I can.
It looked abandoned, but the 1980's date on the one marker tells me it is still active on occasion. That 1985 marker may be one of the ones provided by the government for veterans (that year was when I was a gravedigger, so it looked familiar).
Thank you, I believe it is still active for some of the surviving family members. Some of the graves were kept up, while many others were just about lost to the woods.
