Bonjour joli travail. Je voudrai réaliser la même chose sur mon 110. As tu des plan a me fournir ?

Désolé je n’ai pas de plans. Je l’ai construit sur place à partir du toit. Tu peux aller voir la vidéo précédente (part 1)

Looks great! I'm thinking about doing something similar on my 110. Do you notice that extra weight up high? Do you think it's overbuilt and would switch to any different materials? Do you have a ballpark estimate on the weight

      Hi!
Total weight with the roof is about 70kg. This is light enough that it does not change anything in road behavior. I would be just a bit more cautious offroading but not more than with a roof top tent.
I'd stick with same materials (Aluminium)
It does not feel really overbuilt. Just right.

Thank you. You just show me diy def110 pop top tent can be done. Here I need to pay roughly 28k usd to get a alucab ptt import and install. Thank you again.

The build ended up costing less than 4k$ in materials and labour (mostly for the aluminium welding I could not do myself)

Great job, I would know the air pistons specification, lenght, power etc.. both roof and bed pistons... The canvas is also handmade or have you found somewhere? Thanks a lot and congratulations from Tuscany!!!

I'll make a whole video about the gas struts. But these are 900N, 400mm-905mm. The assists are 200N, 230mm - 380mm
The canvas was hand made. We will do another video on that too
