Salafis should not call them that they're upon ahl u sunnah manhaj, this aalim is clearly rejecting the author's saying that opposing 4 Madhahibs is as oppossing the ijma which is the position of AhlSunnah, but shiekh rejected saying that author got no daleel, so they should also say that ahlu Sunnah got no daleel, but they think that they are in manhaj of AhlSunnah.
The truth was present before the Madhhabs, and the four schools preserved that truth. If you think that in akhiruz zamaan you have figured out that earlier truth which the greatest ulema of early Islam somehow failed to realise, it is you who are a self deceived fanatic, nobody else.
Again, do you consider them infallible? If you find clear cut proofs and hadiths which are certain to be spoken about the prophet, are you going to take the prophets word or their words? Just saying Imam Abu Hanifa said this is not enough. We need to check whether it goes with the sunnah of the prophet or not. There is no greater scholar to ever walk the earth than the prophet. The Madhab of Imam Ahmad allow people to go outside of the Madhabs, so saying you can't go outside the four Madhabs is opposing an Madhab.
