Am I crazy, or at 2:24 do the sides of the belt flip sides?

Nice chest straps. I'm really particular on how I carry my load.

Having had 2 sets of Simms over 15 years the waders are great but Customer service is terrible, I had a ruck sack fall apart, literally all the seams failed, arrogant would be one way of describing the response, woeful another. I did not ask for a replacement just asked they look at it to see if it was up to the standard they expected. Anyway terrible response from the Europe Guys (no UK based warranty) so I bought a set of Orvis Pro Waders as I was not willing to give Simms any more of my money, having just done 2 weeks in Canada, walking 10 k a day in them, so far I have to say for a good bit less money the Orvis waders are more comfortable, a better fit and stood up well to pretty heavy use. And Orvis have a UK based warranty that for other stuff has been faultless.

Ive been fishing with Simms since the 80s... love(d) their product and have a lot of it. Now I will never buy them again. Own a duffel and a wader / boot wet bag and both of them fell apart - seams completely failed. And their product is hugely expensive here in NZ. Their product quality has turned to crap. I corresponded numerous times with them to try get a response - absolutely zero interaction (apart from an initial one where they said ' We do not support/ warrant our products outside the US"...What !?! - if you dont warrant your products overseas, DONT SELL THEM OVERSEAS..... complete BS. Not only is their product crap - so is their customer service......they have not responded to one piece of communications since that initial one. I fish (and occasionally work) with a lot of people in the industry or associated with it and now strongly recommend to them they buy Patagonia or Orvis...anything but Simms

That is more or less exactly my experience, we make inflatable boats in the UK, so know a thing or two about gluing fabric, they are using inferior materials and effectively the wrong glue but their arrogance stopped them listening, I could not get past the "Sales Preventioin Officer" at Simms in Europe. My New Orvis Waders and bag are better than anything I have ever had from Simms,

I know (and fish socially/ privately with) a couple of guides here and they dont use or recommend Simms anymore....lots of better options nowadays....they seem to still trade on their brands heritage rather than their current product and service quality - its almost as if " Were the best - we dont need to worry about those whining losers' Shame - they used to be great.... there is a dealer here who is selling a reasonably current waterproof pack of theirs on sale for $90 odd (down from $220 +)...great deal but still wont buy it@@XsribsInflatableBoats
