Facts
I agree. Usually I’m peaceful despite maining carnivores but some players need something else to kill other than questing juvis. I often see herbivores doing that too so I think they desperately need AI to kill.
@@wintershock also Ai opens space to some other types of quests, like killing the alpha of a pack or a herd or some boss, this could be both a nice alternative way of getting marks and even allowing to unlock special homecaves
It is a survival pvp games. What you guys are requesting is almost like you would like players to stop stealing cars in the GTA.
@@creslyadambardon6580 it’s advertised as an mmo rpg game with pvp on the side , it’s more about rôle playing as being a Dino than going on killing sprees , look at all the official trailers and advertisements , absolutely no one is saying this is a pvp only game , how the hell can you compare this to gta lmao. It’s people like you who think just cause you’re a Dino you are supposed to kill everyone and everything on sight that makes the game hella unrealistic for a dinosaur game. Makes us decent folks who just wanted to have a gameplay as seen IRL or as shown in the trailers or documentaries we grew up with IMPOSSIBLE. Myself and many others are forced to use community servers based on realism and we still got rb kids that think Dinos=killing machines.
For 2 1/2 years after growth was implemented I’ve spent time and time again explaining to new players in game how it works. Even though the tutorial tells you some people still don’t read it all and are lost afterwards. Be it may be on them, it’s still nice to have a video to tell the new players.
so glad to see an official beginner tutorial, especially one that includes a lot of less obvious things new players get confused about (group leader proximity!!). also glad to see this narrator and informative video style back, so good for giving information about the game and i hope they make a return for new release trailers as well!
Yes I love it when I get jumped by three carnivores and five herbivores all working together in an obscure part of the map. Like I understand if I'm at SLL now but I feel bad for any new player's experience... Heck that was my first day.
when you present it like this it looks great and inviting, and I would LOVE to get back into this game, I really miss it. But when I remember the painstakingly long time it took me to grow a HALF of the juvenile growth bar on my allo, only doing the same few tedious quests for hours over and over again, my desire to revisit it disappears. You have to do something about that. Games should be a fun experience, not a frustratingly boring chore that you can lose in a second by getting killed. I wanna play your game, it looks fantastic and has SO MUCH potential (and I paid a lot of money for it), but I'm busy, I don't have time to go through all that effort when I'm not even having fun.

try some unofficial servers with boosted or passive (optional questing) growth if you'd like to just enjoy the dinosaurs and combat while we wait for better questing, which was confirmed in a recent dev blog as being worked on for this year! not sure how much improvement will come this year, as the blog is intentionally vague (don't wanna promise too much for one year probably) but something other than what we have now is coming at least.
They do plan to make it better, they're going to be doing a lot with questing this year to improve it. Personally if I'm doing growth I prefer it on community servers atm seeing as they often tweak the growth per quest and many have growth over time.
@@yuehonda Except if you look at the devlogs, there is basically no information regarding the details of the quests that are said to come. I think they have no idea what to do with it.
@@johnlime1469 adding more quests to areas and different kinds of quests have already been mentioned. We don't know what they're going to do with it. I've always felt when they get Ai dinos out there will be quests based around them, like hunt x amount of this dino like they already do with critters. Technically critter quests are supposed to be expanded last I heard. Don't get me wrong I heavily dislike how long it takes to grow I'm just remaining optimistic for future improvements to the systems.

Idk why but in panjura map you also gained marks for every pick up while questing and also for completing it. But in gondwa you only gain markrs for compliting a quest and its twice as grindy since we have to also unlock abilities.

The game is great. I love the mechanics they feel super smooth and easy to understand and the maps are HUGEE!!!! The variety of dinosaurs are also very extensive and combat wise is very good. 10/10 great game and awesome video!!! 🔥🔥
Feel like this game woulda been so much better if they took a odyssey human kind approach, AI, raise your family and Dino’s, and focus on survivability of your family day to day, by hunting, breeding, migrating. Etc

First tip, do not roar at all when alone

Carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, and the flyer Thalassodromeus the king of the skies and Kaiwhekea the aquatic reptile in the ocean! Thanks for giving us the tutorial for us! And the home caves are great for your dinosaur And thanks for showing us about trusting players before getting killed Path of titans is awesome!
You forgot “stay at least 300 meters away from any trike players”
You can add rexes, megalanias and ankys to keep company with the trikes on the list of: avoid these things.
And ducks too...
And they also forgot "in multiplayer you take 10 hours to grow with the quests that give you 1 milimeter growth ,,

Only on officials. Not everybody has to like them. Theres still unofficials to play on

Got this game yesterday and enjoying it so far but please add the ability to communicate with your team via voice chat. Typing can still work for other players but we really need voice chat for team mates.
Honest opinion I think passive growth should be a thing, just so we don't get bored and have to rely on quests all the time.
There are plenty of private servers that enable passive growth by default.
I can understand why people don't like the quest system, but I quite like it myself.
It forces you to explore new places and migrate around the map, rather than camping one spot for several hours while you wait to grow.
The trophy system leads to team killing ): but great game! Keep up the good work 👏

Buff pycno speed and damage
Buff iggy stamina
Buff pachy speed and damage slightly
Buff kai speed significantly
Buff amarga speed significantly
I agree in all of these except two
Amargasaurus speed is fine amarg need knockback with the tail attack, more damage, more health and more stamina
On the other hand Pachy is fine don't change it
Bruh Pycnos Charge is one of the strongest in the game. It deals knockback and a really hight amount of damage, that could kill mid tiers like cerato or metri in 3-4 hits. It doesnt need any buffs. I kind of agree with the rest tho. Also it would be cool to see a headbutt rework on pachy. It looks very weird when running while performing

@@v2jo_re it does 110 damage .and you can only do it twice before you run out of stamina . Which is not gonna kill anything . Compared to prey it’s size that’s extremely weak and it’s combat weight is 3000. Considering it only has 550 hp , its turn isn’t that good and its as fast as other mid tiers that can face tank it to death like cera speaking of . It only does 45 damage on bite , head butt does 20 on head butt . It’s too weak for the niche it has which is a glass cannon .

But what it doesnt tell you is dont play on officials as it will literally take you a solid 2 days to grow and thats if you dont get hunted down by a rex/eo mega pack for sport.

Yez, imagine having to actually play the game, what a crime. I've been raising Digimon on VPets for 2 years now and that's about a week each to reach Mega level and that is if i don't effe up their stats or my Mon doesn't die for some reason.

So it almost sounds like they are saying you cant mix pack at 3:03 "but only if that have the same diet as you" meaning carnivores cant group with herbivores. am I hearing that right?
giving more growth per completing quests, it's infuriating the little you gain per quest, some people don't have the patience to grow their dino in 6 hours
Unfortunately the devs said that it will take multiple irl days to grow a dino, which is bullshit because no one’s spending multiple days on the game trying to grow a rat
To be fair, it's kinda give and take.
The power that comes with a Rex for example, justifies the long growth-time.
@@iMMoRaLiTiX You can also grow in just over two hours if you have a buddy and are in the proper area too. So it honestly varies more on your dinos speed to do quests than your size.

@Centipede Homie community severs have power hungry leaders that ban you for wanting to have fun because someone complained you killed them and didn't use the right roar 30 times before attacking giving them proper time to escape you

the issue with larger sauropods is that they move so slow that no one wants to play them. the isle has the same problem.

Why is the Growth stages so long, that's should be an video....
It pads the gameplay and length of time players have to be in game. With hours upon hours of gametime, it makes it appear as though its a highly enjoyed game, when all it really is, is hours of grinding and hoping you don't get offed by mix packs and have to start all over again, since your growth is reset to 0 when you spawn again.
Any tips on how to grow besides quests? They are very tedious and made me quit the game since the dino wasnt growing at all
Join a community server with passive growth!
Group quests if you group up with other players makes it happen quicker and make sure to log out in home caves to gain more exp next time u play

@@yaimamartin4817 When you boot up the game, instead of selecting "multiplayer," select "community servers" and pick one! Read any rules they might have and then play on their server :)

Still only the critters you get from the burrows and typically have to move on as soon as you get one out of it so yeah still waiting on that

Multiple community servers have passive growth, and I’d recommend playing on community servers anyways as officials can be riddled with mixpackers (Mass pack of dinosaurs of different species) and such.

Hey path of titans I just got path of titans yesterday and when I buy a new attack move the square does not pop up and it’s just invisible how do I fix it?
So when you unlock it, depending on the server you may need to go into your home Cave to change it!
If this isn't the case when you click to unlock, then click the slot to place that move in, be sure to confirm the selections. I derped a lot in the past years about thar! Lol

Excuse me since they are taking things away from the spinosaurus, at once also remove abilities from the tyrannosaurus rex, the breaking of bones is a headache, I say it doesn't seem fair to me that they nerf the spinosaurus with the loaded bite but they don't even help the tyrannosaurus rex touched with that skill

Hi, I wish you would download an explanation to solve the problem of the community servers. Literally, I can only enter one server. The rest of the servers tell me that you cannot enter. The server used is old. Who has a solution to the problem. I play on the PlayStation.
