Love Mr. M, miss him. Wish he would come back as the ole dynamic duo. Miss watching him drink tea out of his little teacup as Gly drives crazily around in the Jeep with his funny comments 😂
Gly, when I found your channel it was just you and Old Bob. You would jump out with your walking stick, you were always behind the camera. Your voice had me intrigued. I needed to see who would venture so deep into the past. I felt that I needed to be with you and I've been with you ever since.I look forward to every adventure and look forward to many more.
The complainers and trolls are emerging from every crack in the dark bowels lately all over this platform. Don’t pay them any heed Gly. Keep up the great content and breathe away. 🙏 ❤
Your six-part series on the Thunder Ridge Mine was a masterpiece! The best of all the mining shows on TH-cam. After watching it, I did go back to your very first episode and I watched them all. I look forward to every new installment. Great body of work, Gly. Best Regards
Four years?? Can not believe it has been that long! This is the only show I look for every week. Hoping it goes for many more years to come. Thank you Gly.
Gly, sure miss the drone shots, but I understand...Your breathing sounds normal, considering what your doing.......Today for me, you sound like you feel better....We hit gold today, with all the mines to Explore......Thank you Sir............JB.
Always love seeing your channel grow man. You put so much time and effort and most importantly your freaking life on the line for us every time you go in. So ill say its well deserved.
Thank you! Gly, you ate the very definition of Coolness. What an amazing experience with you this week. If I picked on you a couple of episodes ago I have to praise your work today. I do enjoy most of the abandoned places you explore but the mines just blow me away. You are the best!
Here in the land of Oz, your videos drop each Sunday. Goes without sayn, that we down under, tremble with anticipation, ready to watch the next instalment.
I finally subscribed to your channel, Gly. I have watched most of your videos. Real enjoyment and some I have watched a few times. My 13 yr old son and I are urban explorers. Mostly abandoned manufacturing sites and old quarries. Ohio doesn't offer much for mine. Some old abandoned southern ohio coal mines and Pennsylvania coal mines. Mostly, all sealed up and hard to fined. I'm not sure I would want to take the little man in one of those. We are scuba divers, rapellers, and urban exploration. It's a joy to watch channels like yours and old frank in Canada. Thank you for your videos and godspeed. Never stop exploring!
Congrats on gain 1k new subscribers! I've been following your channel for a few years and am always amazed at your drone work, production quality, and adventurous spirit. Keep up the awesome work, my friend! You've got a virtual gold mine here with your TH-cam channel. Thanks for all you do to make this channel awesome!
@@AbandonedandForgottenPlaces Would Gly be interested to get in touch with folks from "Exploring Abandoned Mines" channel? They own an old mine from which they are currently removing muck and discovering internal structure. As I understand, they are trying to dig it out completely and make it open as a sort of "tourist" mine. For now, many things are still unknown and dangerous which can be seen in their clips. For me at least, it would be very interesting to see all that from Gly's perspective (himself and his equipment). Mine itself looks terrifying. Cheers
Hey gly in post edits go to your audio equalizer see if it has a low end cut filter This takes out alot of wind noise And possibly lesson your breathing audio The low end cut filter is used on stage to effectively reduce wind noise etc. Hope this helps
Morning Gly. Top notch as always. Thank you for explaining what it is you see they were going after. I've learned a lot and am now starting to recognize more and more.
Congratulations to the new members, this is a good site, mining and old structures and wonderful drone pictures. On to the Mine hike with Gly!! Be sure to watch earlier versions with Mr M and Randy, and specials with Mr M's comparisons of Vienna sausages and other items.
Congrats! Glad that one did so well. It really was some pretty good flying skill there. Think I've watched most of your vids at this point. My personal favorites are the collab series across all the channels and Thunder Ridge (needs it's own playlist) that was SO much friggin' work. Would love to see you take some of the other explorers in there.
Yep, that huffin and puffin is what gets ya healthy. That rainbow mine and them minerals were delicious looking, like making a berry rhubarb pie. Lol . lots of ore left in that one and a good hanger too. The sparkley pony master charge stopetastic rainbow rhubarb pie mine. Haha. C ya next week.
Hello Gly, Congrats on the views on that one video and all the new subs. I guess I am one of the old people here as I believe you were on about #30 when I started watching. Your channel has certainly changed and grown a lot. This is always my Saturday morning thing to do is watch your video and have breakfast. BTW, in regards to breathing heavy, some people just breath heavier then others. I am one of those. Even in my teens when I was in top shape I would always breath heavy when jogging and playing baseball. Gly you have a great channel and I do wish you all the success in growing it even more and more. Take care always. 👍
Hi Gly , l can now say , l have watched every episode of yours. As a viewer from Australia l look for with anticipation for watching the channel grow . If every you interested going to Australia , you would have a free place to say
Gosh time flew, really your a good teacher. Wish I'd OF known studying rock formation was, is so cool I'd OF taken course in school. Thanks for letting us know cause of your Huffing and puffing, we'd do same.. Gosh was nice outing today..
Love the Drone work Gly, an congrats on the new subs. Wow that is an awesome mine and all the cool stuff still there. Those minerals are fantastic, wish I could dig a few. I do have some samples I collected about 35 years ago when I was boonies hopping in my Jeep while in the Corps. I know your channel will continue to grow because it has all of the great elements to do so. See you next week, Old Kenny.👍❤️🇺🇸
It might be too windy outside but there's always room for breaking wind on the inside. It looks like they just stopped at World War II and never picked up after the war, but they still have a lot to go after or I should say the next person has a lot to go after. Of all the mines that you've been in recently, this is the best for varied ores found in the walls.
I've been a subscriber for a long time and for fun started rewatching the videos from the beginning. It was a fun journey to watch the first time and seeing where things are now it's been even more fun to revisit. I highly recommend. Thanks for all the adventures Gly.
(now it is Sat....ha,ha.) Appreciate you being so informative about the mineralization as you walk thru. Oooh, too short....we want more of Gly's explores but I'll see you next Sat., or maybe on your Wed. "shorts". Thank you for today's edition.
Wonderful video, but it always is. I'm a old, (not age wise lol) new subscriber. I have been watching for about a year and a half. I enjoy flying over the beautiful land, and walking in the abandoned cabins and mines. Your contents and wisdom is worth sharing. I think your great videos get the credit of your growth. Congratulations!!
Wow, this mine is still chock a block full of some beautiful ore! And that one pocket down the right passage way that had the open stope with feet thick ore still sitting there glittering in your light! It amazes me that no one has cleared it all out! Perhaps the values just aren't there, and the Lead isn't of real value I'm sure. But you never can tell right? And the coolest thing of all kind of stone is when you have those beautiful dendrites, it looks like plants growing in the rock! It's so nice to get back into a REAL mine and explore a whole bunch of passages and see ore deposits. I suppose the last episode showed a mine similar but it was turning into an open pit mine, and it wasn't the same as this one. Thanks for putting yourself on the line as always Gly, I never want to sound ungrateful for the risk you take by entering open mines. Thanks again for taking me along with you on your exploits of old mines, too bad that the Governments on the Federal and State level want to block people from gaining access to these pieces of history. I guess it's all because the stupid among us, that ruins it for the rest of us who love to watch pros go into these mines to explore them. Lots of things have been ruined by Stupid people, mine exploration, explosives, daily commutes, you know, the regular stuff! LOL See you next week!
Gly could you return to episode 80 ware you climb under a bad collapse and found a big nice room with excellent ladders leading downstairs but because you would have needed help and Mr M would have surely stained his depends going under that collapse could you return with Randy or someone else and go see the lower levels thanks
Hi Gly. Someday could you make a Gly short and give us to guided tour of the contraption you are wearing over your chest. Is it a chest protector or a canteen or a utility tool box. I’ve never seen anything like that.
well done on the new subscribers, fantastic video love it when the minerals pop out at you and sparkle. role on next week for next episode. thanks Gly.

Thanks Gly Coolness for keeping us glued to your site, don't want to miss anything. And Now my lunch is calling.
Hi, really enjoyed another episode and you trying to take us along. Thanks to your explanations the situation you get into are very clear, even when at home in The netherlands. :).
I have a question to ask. When they are cleaning all the ore off the hanging walls and the foot walls and creating the stopes, are they drilling that material and blasting it out or do they use picks and hammers to remove it? Really enjoy your video's and look forward to them every Saturday.
I feel abandoned and forgotten until you post a new video..
I know, right?
🤣🤣🤣
Got a funny feeling about this one Gly... might be worth it... but I know nothing...
