Pulling in old tshirt over the opening of a cardboard box with the head hole covering the opening of the box makes for cute cat homes as well. And much simpler than this. A box and tshirt are all you need.
What a great idea! You could overlap the bottom of each shirt over the entrance of another to put them together and make a tunnel system. Probably shouldn't pin them with safety pins though, stitching would be best.

I'd probably cute the sleeve off in that case so they don't get caught in it, but still have an extra exit. You just stretch the area where you cut gently and it won't fray.

Oh this is so fun! The tent you made the littlest kittens was so pretty! I loved the design on it. Mugi and Hama snuggling together in a tent was so precious. Kohaku sticking out of the sleeve at the end had me laugh out loud. Love your content, love your kitties!
Hah that's really cute and very quick! However, the shirt used should be warn/old ones you have already worn as cats tend to want their owners/slaves scent on them which makes them feel more at home. It's a great way to reuse warn out t-shirts for sure, So thanks for the design and keep up the great work!

Wow, never thought it could be so simple to build a nice cathouse, looks very cozy and stylish too! I'll make a bigger one for my duo using a pile hoodie instead, so they will finally have a place to stay in when stepping inside (they're outdoors cats). Kudos for the idea! Oh, and the kitties are beyond cuteness! Especially the one with the heart-shaped nose 😍😍😍😘😘😘

A few stitches across the overlap should work, or strong tape for those who can't sew.
Maybe use something heavy for the base glue the cardboard to it ? 🤷♀️

I made these for my last set of foster kittens... They loved it so much. I left the sleeves out so they had multiple entrances and exits.
