Yeah, VoiceOf Baceprot is an amazing band too. Very skilled ladies and probably more complexity their songs structure than The Warning, maybe more European influence, Scandinavian rock bands. Would be a dream to watch these new generation of empowered women bands touring together, they all are amazing!

This song got kinda a slow start over here but I'm glad reacters are discoverering them. This is an important, very brave band and their message is incredible. Everyone should have the right to express themselves as they please. Great reaction!
I think the you got the message exactly. Florin Cristea, the father of the Liliac band, was shunned from his church for his musical preferences, so it's certainly not just a Muslim thing. I think both the Warning and 12 Foot Ninja comparisons are apt in their own way as is System of a Down. Slipknot is another big influence for them
VoB and The Warning, two of my favorite groups at the moment. Both power trios, both with tall bassists and short drummers. To be fair I think Pau is actually taller than all of VoB, ... maybe not the bassist. Both don't dress provocatively or sing songs about boys. VoB are 21, 21, and 20 years old while TW are 21, 19, and 17. TW has the advantage of living together and has been able to generate quite a discography to date. VoB needs to work on more original material but they recently completed a short European tour and there are some good videos of them playing live. Their cover of Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" from one of those concerts is exceptionally good. SOAD is another influence for them as is RATM and the RHCP. The lady's are amazing there well polished. Someone on TH-cam did like a comparison between them and The Warning. I'm pretty sure they were in a much bigger group before and i think they said they formed in some music school. Not talking nothing away from them because they are amazing.
They are orthodox self-taught with improvised tools, assembled drumb from used marching band instruments and bass from a modified acoustic guitar too.. awesome..🙂.. and after finishing their European tour, they will learn from seniors in our country to improve their skills. .

Imagine a group of teenaged girls in a conservative Muslim village in Indonesia, starting a heavy-metal rock group in the face of a societal resistance, including opposition by some of their parents. They started off posting covers of big-name western metal bands, before starting to release their own music. They consider themselves faithful Muslims, and wear hijab on stage (with some enhancements, hence “the costumes”), but they still get opposition and even threats from people who are opposed to girls behaving this way (“baceprot” means “noisy” or “loud”). “School Revolution”, th-cam.com/video/4aZX-C8HKJc/w-d-xo.html their breakout song, is about having the right to have ones’ own thoughts, free of judgement from society. “God Allow me (Please) to Play Music” is about people who use religion as an excuse to persecute artists.
