Interesting video tools. I wander if your going to use the adapter with the cord if an air powered one and a compressor would be just as good but a lot lighter. I guess the only issue would having to carry a compressor around with you. It still seems shame given the amount they had they went with 18 volt and the weight
I have the Milwaukee nail gun as I got bored of waiting for makita to pull there finger out glad I didn't bother waiting for it heavier l, larger what a waste of time
Same. Started buying into m18 and M12 tools because of the Gen2 nailers being awesome. Now I have them all. And a pile of other red tools. Makitas too slow these days.

Makita: last to market with a tool and still heavier than the competition once again. But at least they have a battery powered coffee maker.
Wait for the next generation.
We have been waiting for the first generation
We already waited 10 years for this one!
Aka buy the second gen hikoki in a few years 😂 you'll be waiting 5+ for the second gen Makita

I'm assuming it doesn't work with the slim batteries then
Why would you assume that?
@@nbtmcidNo mention of it in the video and they don’t fit on all tools.

Four cell LXT 14v pack. Magnesium or titanium nails.
If I wanted a tethered nailer, I’d just get an air one. :)
You can attach the battery to your belt and walk around, you can't do that with a air hose and compressor.
You need to calibrate your counting tools, that's 4-5 seconds on the tip time-out.
Kiwi seconds.
Must be metric seconds haha
Kiwi seconds LOL

I'm not too interested in a framing nailer, but in other news the DTD173Z is finally on sale here in Australia.
China version though
