I have never had a bad Rocky Patel. I've enjoyed ever single one. Had the pleasure of meeting Rocky last fall. Class act! The ALR and Decade are outstanding cigars!
I’ve met Rocky at a smoke in Charlotte years back and the man is a class act. His blends and quality control are right up there with all the elite manufacturers.
My very limited experience of RP cigars is limited to the Aged Limited Rare and the LB1. Neither blew me away initially, but after having sat in my humidor after 8 months or so, the LB1 was such a pleasure to smoke - difference almost night and day. I can't wait to have another go of my Aged Limited Rare now that I've had it in my humidor around 10 months now.
I don’t smoke much Rocky, not for any other reason than I am preoccupied with Cubans, Padrons, Davidoff, Opus x and many others..BUT his sungrown maduro is excellent. Really, an incredible stick
@@hahanah1463 over priced if we are talking about Cohiba, Trinidad. With Cubans I’m mainly an H.Upmann, Hoyo, Partegas, Romeo ect guy, the prices are fairly the same as we’d pay for a box of whatever here in the states. The construction issues.. I’ve had just as many if not more poorly constructed new world cigars as I have had in Cubans. I can’t speak on their labor or their soil as I don’t know. It’s all in what fits your pallet.
So much to choose from in the RP portfolio, which makes it hard to do at times. But all three of these cigars rock! My wife loves the 60"s and gets mad, if I light one up without her. Just placed an order for the RP "Year of the Dragons". Cannot wait to see how those turnout.
My favorite Rocky Patel cigar is the R/P Decade. It’s definitely on my top 12 list of cigars that I enjoy mainly on the weekends. I enjoy strong cigars especially from AJ Fernandez.
Have to agree with this list. 3 awesome blends. The white label and sixty really stand out to me. The sixty being amongst my top 3 favorite cigars at the moment.
Just finished a Decade. Extremely enjoyable smooth cigar, added some more to my humidor. The Edge can't wait to check them out and must look for the Sixty. Thank you Holt Cigar Co. and Mr. Patel!
RP is a solid brand, as opposed to some of the popular ones out there that have disappointed me highly. RP I must say is more consistent and can be spicier than other cigars. I tried the white label yesterday and it was a great stick, smoked it all the way to the last third. Unfortunately his cigars start tasting bitter after the second third so purging it every 5 seconds becomes annoying. Other than that it is 8/10 a great Connecticut blend comparable to a Montecristo.
When your name Patel and you succeed in the cigar industry you deserve a lot of credit. I liked the Edge, decade, the Connecticut wrapper.. Rocky is a genuinely nice guy, met him many times..And also one of the hardest working people in the business...very dynamic personality. Thank you for the video
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯my favorite of his which is the only one I’ve had of his. Which I’m smoking as I write this is the San Andreas vintage. But those other three are going in my humidor soon as I find them. This San Andreas taste like what my mind imagines what a Cuban cigar is supposed to taste like. But I don’t know. Never had a Cuban cigar yet. I could be all wrong.
Rocky Patel is among my favourite brands and i enjoyed a lot of their blends. The Edge Candela, the 60, the Hamlet Liberation, the Vintage Series (especially the one with the cameroon wrapper) , i can recommend any of those. Never had a bad Cigar from RP.
Rocky Patel The Edge Maduro - Toro has been my go to cigar for more than a decade. no pun intended. I have a dozen in my everyday humidor right now. Goes great with a good bourbon.
His sun grown maduro is phenomenal! All the rest I have smoked (and I say this with a few in the portfolio I have in my humidor resting), it’s nice 8 dollar smoke. So many smokes at even 10 dollars that could easily convince me to never go back. That sun grown maduro tho. That will always remain in box level in the humidor. That’s easily in my top 10 NC of all time.
I bought a Rocky Patel cabinet selection I can't even find it online I have about 50 cigars I buy randomly, this is going to be one of my favorites I can't find the cabinet selection again but I will definitely try his other products the cabinet selection, it Rivals the Ashton classic, which is a smooth cigar this baby right here OMG this thing rocks I can't wait to try the other cigars but I hope it lives up to this cabinet selection that I love can't find it again
I love the 55, lb1 and quarter century. I really liked the aged limited rare and san andreas 2006 vintage. I found the white label a little underwhelming because i love big flavor cigars so i have to be in the mood for a medium body creamy cigar
Recently bought two sticks; both Rocky Patel vitange 90 and 92. Haven't lit-up the 92 yet, however the heavy use of "creamy, rich and nutty" is all marketing jargon. Medium bodied indeed, but not creamy or even close to any of the decsriptions. It was sinceraly pure pepper and ehtenol. mid grade and over priced for its actual category. It did, however stay lit very long and the second half of it wasn't too bad, as it did mellow. But not enjoybale to commend or rebuy. I'll be trying out the 92 soon and taste for myself the difference. Also picked up, AF Hemingway short story maduro. The original is great. I expcet awesomeness from that lil stick.
I’ve really grown to like RP Cigars. Keep a few The Edge series in there. Sun-grown Maduro is an absolute must try. 11/10 hands down. Disciple is always 🔥 after dinner, Tavicusa with morning coffee, Dark star nub for mid day, and can’t ever go wrong with a SIXTY.
The RP Sun Grown Maduro introduced me to the world of premium cigars and have a special place in my heart, my favorite RP is by far the White Label. You can't go wrong with any RP cigars !
You must try a Decade if you have not. Love the sun grown maduro as well. RP is hit or miss with some people but i have never experienced the quality issues ive seen some mention.
RP is not in my wheel house, regarding the white label it tastes like a budget Connecticut sticks you can find in the market with three times less price range of what this Costs.
ALR is an excellent blend. I bought a box (actually had Mr. Patel sign it) and he loves it. I would also add the Disciple to this list. Love the richness and color. But has anyone had a Number 6 Connecticut with Honduran Coffee?? It’ll blow your mind.
I just this morning purchased a Rocky Patel Vingate 1999 Connecticut cigar from my local cigar store with a good selection from their walk in humidor. It wasn''t worth a crap ! Didn't want to stay lit, pruduced very little smoke, and if I let it rest for 15 seconds, I had to puff three or four times to get it to produce even a little smoke. Pure garbage ! I worked at it until it was only half way through and tossed it out ! I paid $10.00 for it and I have had $3.00 cigars that were better. What a disapointment that was ! A total waste of money that I can't really afford !
Not a huge fan of his stuff never lives up to the hype imo.. and I’m ok with paying a good price but his Connecticut is no where near worth 20.. sorry it’s just not
For me white label is one of his worst cigars (overpriced and that's why he keeps promoting it), ALR is quite good and the sixty is top notch. His best are the vintage lines.
I have never had a bad Rocky Patel. I've enjoyed ever single one. Had the pleasure of meeting Rocky last fall. Class act! The ALR and Decade are outstanding cigars!
Meeting Rocky ? Now thats awesome
RP vintage Connecticut was a first time buy great smoke
Rocky Patel cigar ranks right up there with the best in the business. Nuf said
@@samhackney5977 No question!
I had the disciple recently, it was awful
1992 Vintage is my favorite. The construction is really top-notch and the flavor is perfectly balanced.
Was my favorite for years, starting back in 2005 or 2006.
I feel like the flavor has changed over the years, but still a good smoke.
My favorite as well.
Rocky p is my favorite go to, I haven't been disappointed yet.
My first Rocky Patel was the 2006 vintage, loved that thing. Have since ordered a few more from RP and can't wait to try them

Try out his sun grown maduro robusto and decade robusto. Amazing cigars especially the sun grown maduro. I really really want to try sixty.
I don’t smoke much Rocky, not for any other reason than I am preoccupied with Cubans, Padrons, Davidoff, Opus x and many others..BUT his sungrown maduro is excellent. Really, an incredible stick
Cubans? Naaah they had their day. Over priced, communist country, over work soil, awful labour now and terriblr construction these days
@@hahanah1463 over priced if we are talking about Cohiba, Trinidad. Yeah I agree rp has a nice idea for some blends
I love Decade!
Glad to see this... because there are some many R.P cigars its almost hard to decide what to try..
I love the vintage 1990 and 2003 Cameroon 🇨🇲

RP 55 is my go to but the 60 is right behind it !
Sixty robusto is a banging stick in my opinion ❤️
I want to try it so bad
The Edge Habano is always in my humidor
Anyone try Conviction? Don't know if its worth the $100 price tag...
My first love RP was the Robusto 20 plus years ago
Decade for sure. Gotta try the others thow.

My 3 favourites to date are the ALR, The Edge 20th anniversary and the Royale
The 60 is an amazing cigar !!
Decade is my favorite from the RP brand.
I just smoked the 2003 at BURN in OKC and it was delicious. The lounge isn't so great, though.
Rocky Patel The Edge Maduro - Toro has been my go to cigar for more than a decade. no pun intended. I have a dozen in my everyday humidor right now. Goes great with a good bourbon.
Rocky patel is my go to guy.the edge and disciple are beautiful.
55 + 60 ❤

For me the Sixty sixty and Decade hits it for me.
ALR is my favorite cigar right now. Bought a box. Great cigar!
Anything Box pressed from him is a good time imo 😊

The 1990 vintage RP is an absolute banger!
The RP Sun Grown Maduro introduced me to the world of premium cigars and have a special place in my heart, my favorite RP is by far the White Label. You can't go wrong with any RP cigars !
💯🔥
I love Rocky Patel cigars. I love Vintage 1990, it my favorite.
The Rocky Patel 60 and the Decade are pretty good. I haven't tried all of them yet.
Those three plus the decade are bangers.
Great video, I’m a big Rocky Patel fan
Just had his Dark Star toro today, great ciagar!
1992 Vintage hands down without a damn question
The Cameroon was my first and favourite RP💨
You must try a Decade if you have not. Love the sun grown maduro as well. RP is hit or miss with some people but i have never experienced the quality issues ive seen some mention.
The 60 is excellent
He kills it with the sixty I buy one every time I see one
The ALR is really good! I need to try that white label
White Label is delicious 😋
The first cigar I ever had was a Rocky Patel Decade. That was my introduction to cigars and I haven’t slowed down.
🙌
The sixty!! I was smoking three a day at one point...
I love the rocky patel white label
RP is not in my wheel house, regarding the white label it tastes like a budget Connecticut sticks you can find in the market with three times less price range of what this Costs.
Rocky Patel decade!

Age limited rare are my favorites, the sixty is cool and so is the disciple
Like the RP Year of the Dragon, great cigar
Three great cigars, especially the 60.

Good middle of the road cigars, and i dont mean that in a bad way. The 1990 and 1992 are great for around 7-10 bucks a stick
The edge habano is my favorite!
His Seed To Smoke Classic is delicious.
Vintage 1990, Decade,sungrown maduro👍🏾
The 1999 Connecticut os my favorite rocky patel

Favorite is the Decade!!! Loving the black cherry note I get.
Pause. That's my mf cigar, bro!! Disciple. Love to see it Ha ha!!😂
Rocky patel classic cigar
Decade 👍awesome smoke 💨
ALR
RP has a lot of good cigars but in my personal smoking opinion the Vintage 1990 is the best
RP's and Gurkha's are in the same overrated category..... pump out too many cigars instead of sticking with quality over quantity
I just this morning purchased a Rocky Patel Vingate 1999 Connecticut cigar from my local cigar store with a good selection from their walk in humidor.

Vintage 1990
RP Vintage 1992
RP white label is a great cigar
I had a Rocky Patel 1990 vintage and it was probably the worst introduction to a brand I have ever experienced
vintage 2006 san andreas
Not a huge fan of his stuff never lives up to the hype imo.. and I’m ok with paying a good price but his Connecticut is no where near worth 20.. sorry it’s just not
I agree but the one I think is really good is the number 6 and not expensive. Maybe give it a try
@@carmeloramos3736 the number 6 is okay for sure
agreed, quality issues for me. i’ve tried everything off his. best is the sungrown and decade
The 11th year anniversary is good
ALR second edition is amazing
Olde worde reserve madro
No.mention of conviction..ugh
To be fair, this interview was filmed before the release of Conviction 😂
For me white label is one of his worst cigars (overpriced and that's why he keeps promoting it), ALR is quite good and the sixty is top notch. His best are the vintage lines.
