  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in New York to attend the "Summit of the Future" following the conclusion of day one of his U.S. visit, which included participation in the Quad Leaders' Summit.
Yesterday, PM Narendra Modi addressed the Indian diaspora and said, “That day is not far when you will see the 'Made-in-India' chip in America. This small chip will propel India's journey toward Viksit Bharat (Developed India) to new heights. Ye Modi ki guarantee hai (This is Modi's guarantee).”
He continued, "Today, India's 5G market is bigger than that of America. This has happened within just two years. Now, India is working on developing 'Made-in-India' 6G technology.
In addition to focusing on women's welfare, we are committed to women-led development. The government has built many homes registered in women's names. Over the past decade, 10 crore (100 million) women have joined the micro-entrepreneurship scheme. In agriculture, we are leveraging technology, using drones for farming, and what's remarkable is that rural women in India are at the forefront of this effort. We are training thousands of women to become drone pilots. This technological revolution is being driven by women from villages, and we are now focusing on areas that were previously neglected."
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Sunday, criticized the previous YSRCP government, alleging that several procedures for procuring ghee by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) were altered during their tenure. He also claimed that appointments to the TTD board had become akin to "gambling" under the previous administration, with instances of appointing individuals who had no faith and prioritizing non-Hindus.
The Chief Minister noted that people's sentiments were hurt following revelations regarding the laddu.
Naidu announced that a shanti yagya in accordance with Agama Shastra will be conducted today to purify all temples within the TTD. Additionally, an IG-rank officer and a special investigation team will be formed to file a report on the matter, and the state government will take appropriate action based on the findings.
YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging action against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for accusing his party of YSRCP involvement in adulteration of the prasad at Tirupati temple.
In the letter, the former Chief Minister said that Naidu’s "reckless" and "politically motivated" statements hurt the sentiments of devotees and "tarnished the sanctity" of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) board.
