Thanks for the info, do you still have it now and is it still working, 4 years later ? I have one where the screen works sometimes, and other times just a quarter of it works with the other 3 quarters being a pixelated mess! I might give this a go before splashing out on a replacement screen.
There is very little sound in my Roland Juno G. No matter how good the sound or speakers are, still the sound is very low. What could be the reason for this? Please tell.
Replacement Juno-G display modules are now available again, but I can not post a link. Try looking in the JunoG section of Roland Clans forum. The thread title is:"Is this a possible solution for LCD Juno G screen?".
That’s OK all the time, but the following video is tell me another things. For example, deatached contact chips on the LCD panel. th-cam.com/video/xy8mYNYHTlw/w-d-xo.html These are not clarified errors everywhere.
@@deejuicemailbox it's always a good plan to clean all possible cable interconnects because you'll always find "dry joints" for which on most occasions will cure the problem.
Thanks nicely and really useful, logical what you say and present in the video! There are many rumors on the net about seemingly real solutions and now I could buy a Juno G for $ 175, which is supposed to have a still working LCD, but who knows how long.
Thanks for replying. I might get one depending on if the seller accepts my my offer... I hope to fix it but it’s a 50/50 chance. This Juno will go down as legendary in 20 years if there’s a long term fix.
@@osun-ase Did you get it to work again? Did you use the contact cleaner version of wd-40? Trying to get some answers myself and I think there is regular wd-40 and contact clearer wd-40. Which did you use?
Goto 3:00 on the timline and you will see the blank screen which was displaying no information and I did say that the Juno wasn't displaying anything.....that was the proplem I fixed.
If anyone knows how to repair a faulty Juno G keyboard, let me know! The workstation will output demo and audition sounds, but the keyboard doesn't work. I'm assuming there's a faulty connection somewhere
@@ColinJamesPoulter but I bought the Facom spray for electronics connectors : 4€! I will try to fix it because it’s the Ver 2.0 and this synth is very powerful for sequencing all my gears. And the 4 audio recording tracks are very good. I bought a Roland FA-6 in January to replace the Juno-G but it is not exactly the same thing. The Juno-G have his own assets and it is very easy to use it, the workflow is very simple. For 4€, I am not taking too many risk. I hope your video will help me to resurrect my old synthesizer. 😊😊😊
Lost screen a year ago and had given up trying to find a new one.Found this and tried it and now perfect thankyou so much
Thanks a lot! I did it 🥳🥳🥳 just cleaned up all plugs and connectors. The LCD is fine again 👌🏻

Hi it could be the main potentiometer that is failing or simply a dirty connection from the pre-amp

What did the LCD look like before cleaned the switches? Mine is a frozen screen
It was blank
By repairing can you turn on the entire display
So you did nothing to the actual ribbon cable that comes from the display, or you just didn't show that?
I didn't get to show that bit but yes unplugged and cleaned all connections where possible 👍🏻
How about that... thank you sir for probably the most helpful video out there
So pleased I helped you out 😎

Not sure to be honest
If I remember corectly V1 has white ribbon, but V2 bronze/brown
