Wow! Her high notes are definitely stronger than they’ve ever been before. Her range is just incredible right now. This performance is breathtaking, I was already captivated by how smooth and warm her voice was at the beginning. She’s just exceptional.
You could tell she put all of her energy into this.
She has clearly worked on her high register.
Diana managed to get her head voice more or less on par to her unique chest voice from both a quality and power perspective. And her polyphonic abilities just perfected this performance. This is a huge step forward for her.
By the way, the judges we saw here are also the other participants. And they were visibly shocked and mesmerized by her performance.
Diana won this first round by a huge margin and her second performance at the end of the show is just as good if not even better in my opinion.

I personally feel that the US music industry would destroy her. They would try to change everything and try to turn her into another soul-less pop singer. She needs to stay true to herself and sing what she wants and not get pigeon holed into a specific genre but that's just my opinion...

I watched the entire program from Russia's National TeleVision. The man who stood up said, in his comments (in Russian)), "Unbelievable talent! Unbelievable!" Diana was amazing throughout the show. When she commented to the other artists, although I did not understand what she was saying, she always made people laugh. I believe I am remembering the numbers correctly when I say Diana won with 74 points while the nearest competitor had 55 points. How many thousands of years has it been since we've had one like this? I don't know, but we are so lucky to be alive for this!!

я думаю, его пригласили в качестве ментора именно для Дианы; конечно, он участвовал в подготовке и очень переживал, - от Дианы давно ждут показа верхнего края ее диапазона. Юсиф вскочил в самый ответственный момент, как спортивный тренер, показывая Диане, что рот нужно открыть на 100% +. Диана знала и сделала все по технике на максимумах. Помощь и дружба Юсифа ей еще много раз помогут.

Юсиф не зря встал, и замер Диана выдала практически оперный голос ,да ещё в высокий, для её контральто это было испытание, и она с честью вышла из него, браво дива.
Тут одной западенской реакторше не то что бы не понравилось, а она там выразилась в ключе что в среднем и низком регистре она убедительнее "смотрится", дык, средний и низкий регистр и так без её предпочтений убедительнее чисто в слуховом плане там больше всего, а ещё она эту переработку назвала "русской", ну а какой ещё, если у них таких эмоций нет... ;) по факту есть, но выразить они их не могут... ;)

Hi Jen, this was sensational by Diana. This is the first episode of a nine episode show called "the show must go on" so that was Diana's first song of nine & the people sitting watching are all contestants on the show, they all have to give points for each others performance, Diana stole the show last night with her performance. This is a great concept. Ps I don't think she will leave Russia to live anywhere else, she is her Motherland. Take care stay healthy ❤
