I"m glad I bought some cheaper yoyos for extras... my YYJ Trigger ($9 sale) hit the ground at 30 mph (string flew off finger) and broke,. so I took off the massive steel weight rings and, with a wrap of aluminum-clad tape, they dropped snugly in the spot meant for a cap in a Duncan Pro Z (assembled with the wideing spacers which usually stink on that model without enough rim weight to offset the spacers). I love the big, heavy, slow, stable yoyo so much for slower-speed training I'm going to make another (and maybe machine rings later to go into the Triggers robbed of their rings... the machined POM/Celcon YYJ Trigger deserves more balanced rings than the stamped/punched rings it came with). Anyway this week's worst accident was hitting the end of my forefinger twice in a row at high speed with a rock-hard looper on the heavy side. Bad part is, I cut the end of that finger off like 6 months ago. Even the nail grew back (weird) but the bone is obviously still sharp on the end inside the meat because I about passed out the second time. Well when they animals in the circus it trains them to get the trick right. I love animals so I'll do it to myself.

My 7 years old got a yoyo as a Christmas present and is in love with it, but got broken the third day😞. I am buying two from the YoyoExpert so I can play with him. It's machined aluminum with a special low-friction surface, it has a ball-bearing axle, and is unresponsive. It's an excellent yo-yo but is not for beginners. My recommendation for the best beginner yo-yo is the Yo-yo Factory Velocity. It's fully adjustable from beginner (responsive) play, up to advanced (unresponsive) play. I also really like the Duncan Barracuda.
In my experience the yo-yo master always answers, and with enthusiasm. That's part of what makes the yo-yo community so great. Also, I can't make you a yo-yo man, I can only help you see the path. You have to walk it yourself.

Whats the greatest type of knot, that you can tie with ease, its happy and it's simple, and it suits your every need! Well im about to note, the you should never tie a rope around your throat! Soooo lets learn how to tie a noose! its practical for every use!
1) make sure it's not obviously not broken 2) check to see if it's in working order: if you have a bearing or transaxle, will it spin? Is it rusty? Is there junk stuck in it? If you have a fixed axe: it the string installed correctly? What I meant by that comment in the video is just make sure your yo-yo is in proper working order.

Killua's skills are a mix of tried and true yo-yo moves, martial arts, and a healthy dose of fantasy :) . If you want to learn to yo-yo like Killua, focus on mastering all the forms of Around the World (standard, side-style, over-the-head, the lariat, and all of the swinging techniques like the 5-beat weave, etc), all the forms of Forward Pass (up, down, sideways, over-the-head, behind-the-back, etc), and all the forms of Looping (Inside, Outside, Punching Bag, Reverse Loops, Vertical Axis, etc) with both one and two hands. Work on smooth transitions between all the tricks, and moving your body so you can look cool. Then work on your long-string skills. Do all of that, and you will be ready to go in a face-to-face yo-yo to yo-yo battle with Killua!

I got a yoyo a while ago and learned a few tricks, I left it at my house while visiting my grandma 4 hours away and my dad mailed it to me a couple months later (yes I'm still here waiting to go home) and you refreshed my brain thank you so much.

I have a really cheap dollar store yoyo, so I was only able to do the first few tricks, but this was really helpful and fun! they were also enough to impress my 6 year old sister lol

Mark my yoyo will stop in about 1 second when i land it on a string, iam using a whip from yoyo factory can u tell me whats wrong?
1 second is really fast for any yo-yo to stop spinning. Do you have a tangle in the string? Is the bearing shot? Are you throwing it hard enough?

I am a 37 year old woman who never knew there were world championships in yoyoing. Also, never knew that you could do tricks. My childhood feels fake now. I still only can go up and down.
There might be something else you didn't know. If that tomcat in that avatar you have is an actual cat that you have around, did you know that he wants to hunt and kill snakes? Like you, most people are ignorant in that regard.
@@stratoleft that cat was not a tomcat and she died in 2010. Besides, I live in the Netherlands and we have no snakes. At least, not where I live. But she used to hunt birds and mice. Which was sweet.

A good yo-yo will definitely help. My recommendation for the best beginner yo-yo is the Yo-yo Factory Velocity. It's fully adjustable from beginner (responsive) play, up to advanced (unresponsive) play.

Killua's skills are a mix of tried and true yo-yo moves, martial arts, and a healthy dose of fantasy :) . If you want to learn to yo-yo like Killua, focus on mastering all the forms of Around the World (standard, side-style, over-the-head, the lariat, and all of the swinging techniques like the 5-beat weave, etc), all the forms of Forward Pass (up, down, sideways, over-the-head, behind-the-back, etc), and all the forms of Looping (Inside, Outside, Punching Bag, Reverse Loops, Vertical Axis, etc) with both one and two hands. Work on smooth transitions between all the tricks, and moving your body so you can look cool. Then work on your long-string skills. Do all of that, and you will be ready to go in a face-to-face yo-yo to yo-yo battle with Killua!
