Very well done Spiff, huge GGs!!! As a part of the dev team as well, I along with Frogger both did many “The Closing Act” (max mode) runs as tests. In the old beta versions we tested, the mode used to be nearly 50 MINUTES, because of a bug that made Ghost AI always set to 1, no matter what. Frogger was the first to do it (in about 54 mins), but made one error (had no errors off), so it was not truly the max mode. I on the other hand was able to do it in 46:25 mins, with No Errors. So technically I was the first to prove it was possible with No Errors lol. You can blame me for that if you want haha. The other thing was that we hadn’t added Cam Outage and Cam Moving hauntings in the beta I did it in, so it was just Handprints and Lights (was very VERY difficult honestly, could have easily rivaled some of the other hardest max modes). Nice job on beating The Closing Act!! Also the all max mode does have downtimes but they only last for like 1 second. JR's is probably one of my favorite FNaF Fangames ever lol. It's so unique and the sound design is amazing. Very happy to see you be one of the first people to beat this : )

Part of me thinks that it would be kinda cool if the hand prints matched the hand of the haunted animatronic, (maybe this would make the game too easy but it would add detail)
I think it should match in some vague form. Like "sets" of handprints so it can it be this -or- that animatronic made into 3 "sets" one hand, one smeared hand, and two hands. So for example: One hand: Bonnie -or- Freddy One smeared hand print: Foxy -or- Chica Two hands: Marionette -or- Balloon Mind you while it does remove some of the guessing you could figure out which hand prints are old and help distinguish ones who use the buddy system as they're not in the same "set".
Spiff is like a ball of slime wrapped around a foil ball (represents FNaF games). He seeps into the balls cracks and crevices until he knows all of them. He masters games so damm quickly.
On max mode, the punishment for guessing wrong is instant death, so it's all down to luck. However, with enough tries it is theoretically possible, not even requiring repairs since each guess with perfect inputs would take around 2 seconds, while the animatronics start at what I presume to be 100 seconds of stability. Meaning the perfect luck run would last less time than it takes for the animatronics to go haywire.
@@remor698 On average, 5.8 of the 35 haunts will be BB in a game. The probability of getting him 10 times instead is 5.5%. Let's say you get super lucky and that happens. From what I understood from Spiff's videos, if you keep someone in the repair room they can't get haunted. You'd still need to get 25 guesses right out of the remaining 4 animatronics. The probability of doing that is 8.88*10^-16, or 0.0000000000000888%. If every human in the world gave it 10000 tries it'd still be incredibly unlikely for it to happen. But I bet Dream could do it
... Nevermind, the more accurate way to model it is to consider the probability of winning any given guess as (1 / 6) + (5 / 6 * 1 / 4), which is (the probability of it being BB) plus (the probability of getting the 1/4 if it's not BB). That turns out to be 0.375 or 1/2.666. Then, the actual probability of winning all 35 guesses is exactly 0.375^35 = 1.233*10^-15 = 0.0000000000001233%.
Glad to have been able to provide info on unclear areas! GG on being like the first, and I wouldn't be surprised if the only, big TH-camr to tackle and beat max mode! It's certainly an endurance test, and it's awesome to see you take it on despite its length :)
I was super sick when he streamed the dub but I saw his stream pop up in my notifications and watched through the whole thing. This stream really made my day and it I’ve been waiting for the video to come out. Amazing as always spiff!
I'm excited to watch this video, imma wait until I finish recording myself beating the rest of Jr's post-game, but it's fun to see that it's definitely possible! I had a feeling it was, but just takes time lol. Also, I may have to correct myself on this but what made max mode a bit easier was the fact that you DO have just enough time to repair the animatronic AFTER you call out one as haunted, to where you can (Report someone as Haunted) -> (Swing over to door and fix that animatromo) -> (Swing back to monitor and call in a new animatronic) all BEFORE the ghost takes over a new animatronic, if you are super quick about it!
Know how lucky you are. The max mode used to last around an hour long while beta testing. Roughly 50-60 minutes. It wasn't any harder just a lot more time consuming.
I've been a fnaf fan since little and I still can't handle all the jumpscares. This fangame has an amazing gameplay but I keep having heart attacks while watching the gameplay
I feel like this is the complete opposite of UCN. While UCN is a 4 or 5 minute hell doing quick inputs on a massive crew, Jr's is more of a endurance test on a smaller crew.
I feel as though the game could just use a timer associated with each room that starts when an animatronic moves into or out of it and prevents any animatronic from moving into or out of it until it finishes.
Balloon boy’s tell is just so obvious that instead of staring into your soul, he should be pointing and laughing at you, with a unique jumpscare noise to humiliate you. It would have been funny, an extra hint of tlc in this game
Spiff, I've got the perfect challenge for you! It was posted by uhyeah, and it's for a FNAF fan game challenge that's never been beaten in all the time this game has been out. Uhyeah has posted a video about the game and the challenge, tips, tricks, and the call to action if you'd like to look into it. It's for the game Tyke and Sons Lumber Co I believe is the proper name. As someone who's adept and skilled at beating all manner of fnaf challenges, as well as just having the determination to do so, I think this could be a challenge you're worthy of!
@@cysheep8261 was it beaten already?! Was it the person who's been trying at it? I'd still like to see Spiff try since it's always fun seeing him complete challenges
Very unique fan game, i like the sleuthing aspect, its kind of like a blend of Clue and Phasmophobia. I'd love to see a time trial mode, busting the most haunts by 6 am, and an endless mode where you keep going until you die. For Endless specifically, there could also be difficulty ramp up as the run continues. I'd also like to see more variety with haunt signs, like erratic movement akin to fnaf1, mumbling, or the haunt teleporting all over the map. The handprint could also have a chance to display a print unique to each animatronic (freddy would be a bear paw, chica a feather, etc.) to make them less annoying.
For BB specifically, there should be more tells tailored to him. The iconic "hi" sound clip in a room, balloons in a place they shouldn't be, or even the presence of him in cameras could be a tell.
Nicknames for the animatronics vary for ease of use. Very few people will call the Puppet/Marionette 'Marionette' every time they talk about it - some say 'Mari' or 'Marion', some say 'Puppet' and I've seen variations of nicknames such as 'Poppy'. A one or two syllable word tends to be the goal, though three is doable. 'Fred', 'Gold' or 'Goldie' work for Golden Freddy, all being part of the name, and the latter of those three is particularly popular. Mangle tends to be 'Mags' if anything at all, though while I use that too sometimes I still dunno why it is. Probably 'Mangs' but the n is lost in transfer. 'Spring' often refers either to Springtrap or the horridly named Spring Bonnie. This continues for just about every character in the series. I've seen the Toys even given entirely different names - 'Blue' is almost invariably Toy Bonnie's given new name, or 'BonBun' and variations (for obvious reasons, that died out a bit after SL). Toy Freddy ranges from 'Fredrick' to 'Waddles' and everything in between. Toy Chica has plenty of community nicknames ranging from the absurdity of 'Hotpants' to the moderately comprehensible 'Tina' to the simple 'ChiChi'. I don't know why I wrote this.
I love this game but I didn't try to beat max mode just because it's about 30 minutes to win and I don't have the patience or dedication for that. + the handprints just like you said, is very badly handled and frustrating. imo the handprint should only be where the animatronic was before. Not only would it fix some bugs about the handprints moving without the haunted animatronic but also make it more fair.
3:35 I made that exact same mistake myself SUPER deep into a max mode run (28/35 I believe), but I kept the space bar held down because I realized after it finished but before I let go of the button... that hurt so much.
im so glad the only way to get jumpscared in this game is by you calling them and being haunted or not repairing them before they reach 0, it would be so hard if they could also get to you, even if just the sussy imposter is the one to try get to you to kill you

I think it should match in some vague form. Like "sets" of handprints so it can it be this -or- that animatronic made into 3 "sets" one hand, one smeared hand, and two hands.
So for example:
One hand: Bonnie -or- Freddy
One smeared hand print: Foxy -or- Chica
Two hands: Marionette -or- Balloon
Mind you while it does remove some of the guessing you could figure out which hand prints are old and help distinguish ones who use the buddy system as they're not in the same "set".
Spiff is like a ball of slime wrapped around a foil ball (represents FNaF games).
He seeps into the balls cracks and crevices until he knows all of them. He masters games so damm quickly.
I think it would be cool if someone made a TAS demonstrating if it is possible to just guess all 35 times.
Then, the actual probability of winning all 35 guesses is exactly 0.375^35 = 1.233*10^-15 = 0.0000000000001233%.
clue speedrun moment
35 times is absolutely insane lmao. Good job!
I love how with the no errors there's that split second before the jumpscare giving just enough time for the "oh no" moment
Spiff love the content keep it up!!!
9:07 Just noticed this, but you can see hands coming out of Foxy!
That's a good catch tbh
Hey Spiff keep up the good work, I would've never completed this on the higher difficulty especially with all the bugs and glitches
You completed the entire game fast! Well done Spiff, look forward to more grinding streams!
Congrats Spiff! I beat max mode last night, and was waiting for this video!
Yes yes yes! We have been blessed with another upload
Good ending
Spiff: "and how i became one of the first to beat the max night"
Dawko who beat 50/20: "finally a worthy opponent our battle will be LEGENDARY!"
funny how neither of them were the first to beat the night
Gz Spiff! I beat it too, on the third day after the release. Gameplay-wise this is one of my most favorite max mode custom nights, together with UCN
What if the buddy system is something they're programmed to do to make it harder?
Keep up the good work Spiff!
Its a blessed day when spiff uploads
Agreed he's one of my fave youtubers!

“If you’re under the age of 12, go play Five Nights at Freddys instead.” ZAMN ALRIGHT
spiff went from playing the game like a blind man to being the sherlock holmes of haunted animatronics
just opened youtube to watch something while i eat dinner, timing couldnt have been more perfect
Wow, this is extremely awesome; keep up the good work with the vids!
Spiff playing a game how it's meant to be played means he's going to win 💀
i find it funny that spiff calls all the animatronics "baddies"
YES we get a continuation, i am extatic 😭😭💖
Ecstatic
It wasn't any harder just a lot more time consuming.
how lucky he must be to not have to waste an hour of his life on this
How come it was so much longer? 60-75 rounds of it?
“There hasn’t been any major Mario or Zelda games since 2017”
In a post 2023 world, this aged like milk
I've been a fnaf fan since little and I still can't handle all the jumpscares. This fangame has an amazing gameplay but I keep having heart attacks while watching the gameplay
6:25 you wouldve known about the “tells” if you didnt skip the tutorial in the beginning 😭
Can't wait for the rng% run where you just guess as fast as you can
I feel like this is the complete opposite of UCN. While UCN is a 4 or 5 minute hell doing quick inputs on a massive crew, Jr's is more of a endurance test on a smaller crew.
Noice, another video to watch so I can stay up late
I was thinking of going to bed but this is better
Im surprised you were able to beat the 7/20 so quickly! Well done.
30 minute marathons are a lot to go through for FNAF games
The security guards working in the FNAF for 6 hours: Ah yes, quite a lot.
I don't think spiff ever explained what makes Ballon Boy a free catch
his stability timer glitches when he's haunted. Look at 23:04
@@L4Vo5 ooohhhhhhh
Maybe spiff should've Said so
@@enderkatze6129 when he was explaining bb you could ofc see his stability timer glitch out
I just came home from a less than ideal day so this is perfect timing
It was the longest 30 minutes of our lives in chat. Shit was wild.
I would LOVE to see Spiff play some Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. That’s kinda what this feels like to me.
This video truly was a pumpkin moment 🎃
His final time was 30 minutes and 7 seconds and with a total of 35 hauntings that means on average he found a sussy animatronic every 51.63 seconds
I feel as though the game could just use a timer associated with each room that starts when an animatronic moves into or out of it and prevents any animatronic from moving into or out of it until it finishes.
11:49 there's still people that make team fortress 2 content, games been out since '07 (but i dont know how many OGs still make content)
The question is, is there time to make 35 consecutive guesses without repairing any animatronic? If so, that's the speedrun strat.
No
Speedrun does it in more then 10 minutes
@@olixx1213 You mean to say you actually have to think for this speedrun? Damn, well played developer.
I don't think you could, unless you get basically impossible luck.
@@hatad321 You have 35 guesses
1/6 chance you're guarenteed to be right with ballon boy
If its not ballon boy you need to get a 1/5
Thats not possible
@@hatad321 With enough runs, probabilities/luck becomes irrelevant.
Balloon boy’s tell is just so obvious that instead of staring into your soul, he should be pointing and laughing at you, with a unique jumpscare noise to humiliate you. It would have been funny, an extra hint of tlc in this game
I would find having to do it 10 times to be a hassle, doing it 20 times a nightmare, but 35? Wow
Times sleeping to this video so far: 5
Spiff, I've got the perfect challenge for you! It was posted by uhyeah, and it's for a FNAF fan game challenge that's never been beaten in all the time this game has been out.
Uhyeah has posted a video about the game and the challenge, tips, tricks, and the call to action if you'd like to look into it. It's for the game Tyke and Sons Lumber Co I believe is the proper name.
As someone who's adept and skilled at beating all manner of fnaf challenges, as well as just having the determination to do so, I think this could be a challenge you're worthy of!
It was besten tho
@@cysheep8261 was it beaten already?! Was it the person who's been trying at it? I'd still like to see Spiff try since it's always fun seeing him complete challenges
@@invadernav3422 I don't remember who did it but uhyeah mentioned it on Twitter a few days ago at some point so you can check there
Probably one of this game’s best modes in my opinion. The ultimate test of observation, thinking ahead, memory, and patience.
Fun Fact: Getting the same animatronic every time requires 1/1.7190708e+27 odds.
Someone’s somehow gonna do a 5 minute speedrun with only balloon boy by manipulating ram
i love that animatronics in KIDS PIZZERIA(Like literally) is the thing you would see crouching in some horror atraction
It was a misinput, IT WAS A MISINPUT
I love this game but I didn't try to beat max mode just because it's about 30 minutes to win and I don't have the patience or dedication for that.
+ the handprints just like you said, is very badly handled and frustrating.
imo the handprint should only be where the animatronic was before. Not only would it fix some bugs about the handprints moving without the haunted animatronic but also make it more fair.
The guy ingame doing this challenge must have needed 35 cups of coffee, at least
3:35 I made that exact same mistake myself SUPER deep into a max mode run (28/35 I believe), but I kept the space bar held down because I realized after it finished but before I let go of the button... that hurt so much.
im so glad the only way to get jumpscared in this game is by you calling them and being haunted or not repairing them before they reach 0, it would be so hard if they could also get to you, even if just the sussy imposter is the one to try get to you to kill you
Man beat max custom night and still had time to make a great thumbnail and edit a video before anyone even beat it.
