It cannot be said enough, Rory Scovel. I've seen every episode with him three to four times and all my other favorites only twice. I discovered Rory through the podcast, and I have never gotten enough.
I'd absolutely love to see Todd Glass do a special where he just performed other peoples material and insisted it was his own.

his performance seemed really sloppy and there was a lot of outa tune singing... but there were some good moments. Over all it was pretty sloppy in my honest opinion. But potential is there.

Rory is always the funniest guest
I really enjoyed Open Mike Eagle's music. So often I'm surrounded and disappointed by rap that degrades women or encourages gang violence, but Open Mike Eagle had me feeling positive with his rapping.
I'm definitely going to get more into his material after this.

i love todd because i've come to realise, over the years, that that's exactly how my comedic mind works - acting out situational and absurdist-type bits at spontaneous times to an audience (of my peers or otherwise) whom have no idea what's going on or what i'm trying to get at.
plus rory was a riot, as usual.
Doug should ditch the cards for the live shows. There are five other comedians on stage. You don't need the cards.

I love these live shows. The atmosphere is so much more relaxed and since it's a big room nobody feels bad about shouting. Do a tour! Record each show! Lodes a mone!

+Russell Jackson This is probably an unpopular opinion, but my other gripe with this show would be that he gets his guests too high. It seems like too often they are preoccupied with where to pass what, and sometimes it cuts into the bits. Not to mention many times people will clearly get uncomfortably high because they are being pressured to vape/smoke so frequently. I'm a pretty seasoned stoner and the amount they end up smoking sometimes would have me deep in my head. I see how much they vape (particularly in the non-live shows), considering that they probably vape the best weed around, some of these folks that aren't constant smokers like Dough are getting pretty blasted. It's a little unnecessary imo. Very often you see them pretending to take hits just because they can't take anymore, and I don't blame them.

+Half thats what i always thought. I could not site 90 Minutes in those chairs. Especially when high.
I understand they need to sit so high because theatres are usually so flat that people in the back can't see properly.
Why not get some comfy chairs that are as high as those stools?
Or get some EUR-pallets, lets say 4 layers, cover it with cheap plywood, and put some garden chairs on it.

+CC NH It always killed the mood when Doug talked about stuff on the cards. Everyone had to stop making jokes, and having a good time, to listen to Doug read off some bullshit that no one cares about.
Good of you Todd , letting Rory sit next to Doug.. letting haters know you are courteous , you have good qualities and don't require being in the spotlight , as or so much .

A lot of comedians brainstorm, but not always out loud. That's why I love Todd Glass. He will say anything that comes to mind and sometimes he bombs, but he doesn't seem to give a shit. This is one of my favorite live ones yet. BTW Rory Scovel is the man!
