Jai Mata Di ! I feel blessed as after Amarnath Yatra, I was destined for Vaishnodevi Yatra and wished to do through new route which was recently opened for devotees, with all the comfort and facilities. It is a different trek than Amarnath Yatra but effort is same with th each step taken. Have seen devotees were happy to climb come what may. Ajd my motto was to inform come what may. It was possible for me to hire a battery car but then you know me...thats not possible in my case. Let's bring smile this morning with Maa Vaishanodevi's prayers.

1983 the first time i had darshan of Mataji. Went crawling in the original cave and came back the same way. It was divine. Jai Mata di. Went back last year after 34 years and everything had changed.

Regarding that old Gufa , I am happy, blessed and fortunate enough to visit temple through that old cave. As far as I remember, I would be 7 -8 years old when I visited temple through old cave. It’s more realistic and water inside was very cold. I have visited Vaishnodevi 5-6 times and only once through old cave. After that it was closed. Jai mata Di..

I'm from Katra vaishno devi and i recommend all the yatris to go from the old track from where maa Vaishno took the journey there is no fun in going from new track if you really want to enjoy your trip or have a blessful journey you all must go through old track... Jai mata di
