I'd argue against anime OPs and EDs, for soundtracks sure, but OPs and EDs have characterisically always been sung because the energy it gives the song.
I'm not a guitarist but I realize how he plays is so outstandingly good that he is a huge inspiration to other guitarists. How he slaps a low note and then plays a melody, how he uses these beautiful rare chords, his tapping and all, he is on another level.

Can't wait for the "Castle" Album. It's just one amazing song after another, especially Bloom and Paper Plane. Those two really let Ichika's guitar skill show, the thumping in Paper Plane was amazing and the clean playing in Bloom sets a nice mood for the song overall

It is so hard to play challenging technical guitar and have it sound good. So many bands succeed at technical challenge but sound awful (dragon force is the best example i can think of)
