A few have stated their support for these people having unrestricted 2A. Only one has stated that " what monster would want these people to have arms ? " What say you to the following?
" Should a non criminal ,violent mentally ill person that is institutionalized has the right to possess arms? Either " shall not " is absolute or it isn't, pick a side with Yes or No. "

@@bobroberts2371 We have due process... and the "mentally ill" part has little to do with it. People do not (usually) end up in mental hospitals without due process, so your argument makes no sense. It's based off ignorance and a logical fallacy. It doesn't matter if a person is mentally ill or not, if he has committed violent offenses, then he receives the same due process that criminals receive. It's only different, because his mental illness is considered for his sentence. Then, He is NOT released until he has been deemed to not be a threat anymore...
...in many states, if the person is deemed not mentally competent due to a mental illness that "caused" him to commit any crimes, he will be locked in an institution until he becomes competent enough to stand trial, in which he will not be released, but will serve a sentence like any other person. If his mental illness was determined to be the cause of his crimes, then he can be sentenced to serve his time in an institution for "x amount of time" and/or until deemed that he is not a threat anymore. If he is deemed to not be a threat anymore, then how can he be "relieved" of his Right to bear arms (AKA his Right to self defense and self preservation)? Who has the right or authority to strip a Free man of a Natural Human Right?
"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters." -Daniel Webster. (I almost always appears t be democrats to be the one's using "good intentions" to violate other people, as they naturally follow their twisted ideology to its natural conclusion (that they are superior and need to RULE and MASTER over everyone else, with their "good intentions", with has never caused anything, but destruction and tyranny). They have been a thorn in the side of Liberty throughout their Entire existence. They fought to be masters in the Civil War and they fight to be masters to this day. Selfish, egotistical, narcissists.
The TRUTH is though, that it matters not what your "good intentions" are. You can NOT take away the RIGHTS of any FREE person. Yeah, Freedom may be dangerous... but Nothing is a greater threat than tyranny (and those with "good intentions"). Tyrants ALWAYS have "good intentions". Even Hitler believed he was saving the German people and the Human Race. It is the vehicle in which tyrants have used to gain power over fools throughout all of history. The Founding Fathers KNEW this and that is why they wrote the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in the first place. I pray you read up on why.
